Rose and Crown in Ashford

First meal we had was very good, we then went back four days later, when we had a roast which was lovely, I then ordered a jam roll poly for desert, I was very disappointed as when it came it was jam Swiss roll, probably will not be going back

Had a brilliant evening meal, at this rustic gastro pub. Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff & delicious food, ample parking, handy as this is out in the beautiful Pluckley village. Prices very reasonable, I'd happily go again, totally recommend you give it a try.

Kim and her team did a top job for mum's wake. The venue was ideally suited for our event with 50 guests. The staff were all very polite, respectful and efficient. Prior to the event, they ensured that the room was setup as we requested and were very flexible in accomodating our wishes. We received many comments from our guests regarding the quality of the buffet food and when we went back the next day to pick up the bits we left there we stopped for lunch which was really good. This gem of a pub is a little off the beaten track but we'll worth the visit. There is a good circular 45min walk and being dog friendly, we will definitely return for a spot of lunch.

Lovely country pub & setting. Plenty of parking. Historic architecture inside, great atmosphere. Log fire lit. That's always a plus in a pub! Modern & traditional menu. Service with a smile. Attentive yet discreet service, obviously know about hospitality. Food - excellent. If you are in the area its well worth a visit. 10/10.P. S. Thanks for the good luck wish about my new job.

My husband and I were out driving and came across this lovely pub. We had lunch (The chips are amazing).The staff are really friendly and attentive and always wearing a smile. Gorgeous pub. Went recently on a a Saturday night. Friendly and fun locals.A friend and I LOVED your open fire. And then the meal. I had sea bass, followed by sticky toffee pudding.Fab bar staff. Special thanks to Jasmine and Christine.Would come back here in a heart beat! ThanQ all.

Outstanding! If you're in the area don't look no further. I was there just for drinks, but even judging by that you can tell how good the service is...That was the nicest, most carefully poured pint I ever had. And we got to meet the owner who offer us a lift back to our airbnb when it turned out the taxi service is not reliable enough. 6/5 pub, highly recommended 👌

Wonderful midday dining experience. We were passing on the way home and were hungry keeping an eye out for somewhere to drop in. After passing one sign we saw a second and headed in.On arrival the young lady behind the bar was very polite and well mannered. We ordered our drinks and another young lady showed us to our seat's. The waitress checked we were comfortable with the table we were seated at and very pleasant when taking our order.The restaurant was half full and the environment extremely tranquil. Food arrived quickly and the young lady serving us could not be more helpful.The food was lovely and very filling we could not have asked for a better experience. Thank you.
