Very good fish and chips. Portions are on the large size which is what you want from a chippy. Fish cooked really well and chip portions are huge! Not five stars as last time the chicken was overcooked and a bit dry but will be back to try something else soon

Ordered 2 battered and 2 plain jumbo sausages and regular chips, sausages were barely warm, chips were very hot, sausages must have been cooked sometime earlier, would have given 1 star but the chips were hot.

I have to say for a first visit I'm Quite impressed.Fish was outstanding. Huge white flakes. Perfectly cooked. Nice batter that's not too thick, but deliciously crispy. And chips were the fluffiest I've had in years.Its a little high in price compared to other great fish places. But I'm not complaining too much as it was lovely.They would of got a 5 star if it hadn't of been for the faulty bag that they failed to tell me about and They had tapped up to hold together, Which just about made to into my house before splitting. And the curry sauce isn't my cup of tea in taste. Plus our daughters sausage was very dry. Probably under the heat lamp too long.But so far the best we've tried in ashford Kent.

Fresh every time, never had a bad portion of chips, the fish is very tasty

Burger and chips £6.60, absolute rip off. Cheap burger and lack of salad and chips and tried to charge me .80p extra for burger sauce on chips! Never again

I have visited this place recently and the service was outstanding. I have asked for my fish to be grilled and it was done exactly how I like it. Not only that- people work there with such a devotion and they went every extra mile to serve my dietary requirements. One of the best experiences and fishes so far. Thank you. B

Not great, disappointing because it was my first time and closest chip shop to home. Whilst I was waiting 2 orders were returned, one because a burger had the wrong sauce and contents, the other because the chips were seemingly under-cooked. After driving several miles home I then found that my burger was missing the cheese I ordered and paid for and also some extra halloumi. Unfortunately it would have cost me more in fuel to return whilst my meal would be getting cold so I didn't bother pursuing it. In fairness, the food I did have was tasty but it seems that the shop can't cope with the amount of delivery orders being placed and customers are suffering mistakes as a result. More haste, less speed!

Food is nice and fresh, however we’re within 4 miles being in shadoxhurst but always seem to get charged £4 for delivery. The menu says £1 up to 4 miles.

Dropped in after visiting the surgery and bought a large cod and chips. The cod was massive and very tasty. The portion of chips was plenty and cooked just right.
