Tandoori Nights in Ashford

Telephone order was 1 hr 20 mins late before I cancelled via e mail. The order had been placed direct on the restaurant website and accepted by e mail confirmation. My e mails enquiring about the order during that time received no reply.The phone had been diverted so that calls were not taken. No communication at all. Dreadful and the last time I order.If you are going to behave like this expect negative reviews.

First order was great a week ago - the guy was lovely and all my items arrived and were delicious. Ordered last night and a different person answered who was not friendly, order arrived and it was totally different to last time despite ordering the same. I ordered the raita and I got a tiny plain yogurt, the lamb was rock solid and inedible, very disappointing and a massive contrast. Don't think I'll be gambling on this again.

Very disappointed with tonight’s take a way, the food was tasteless, the chicken tikka was brown. The onion bhaji was doughy and raw, the sag aloo was bland but had a perfume taste it’s such a shame , we have ordered from there for years... definitely did not hit the spot...

Called to ask if they was open today and the employee was very helpful. Introduced himself, informed me of the options I have. And calm and collected when speaking on the phone and offered to have me take more time to think of my order and then call back. Rang him again and he took my order, and gave me a time slot to get pick up my order. Social distancing was in place and the food was good as advertised. Highly recommend tandoori nights Taj Mahal, the name was what attracted to me ordering.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS RESTAURANT!Ordered some dishes for myself and my family and when it was delivered, one dish was missing. I rang the restaurant to query where this dish was and the man on the phone kept saying “check the bag properly, your food is all in there” and was laughing at me. I asked if they could deliver the dish to me, as I already had most of my order and they said they wouldn’t deliver and it was my problem to sort the £9.95 dish that didn’t arrive. The man then hung up on me - rude! I didn’t even get an apology for the missing dish. Should have stuck with the trustworthy service provided by the likes of Cinnamon Spice and Everest Inn.

This is our first time using this takeaway and definitely the last. Food was delivered with a dish missing. Called the restaurant and they was rude and obnoxious and refused to deliver the missing dish. Totally not interested. They do not deserve the business. I would have given them zero stars but you can’t. DO NOT USE.

The food was good value for money and decent sized portions. When the order arrived, one of the portions was chicken when we ordered vegetable. Called and they had what we originally ordered delivered in about 20 mins.

Gets better with every order we make. Delicious food, a a good variety of dishes. 4 Stars since delivery times accuracy a bit of a hit and miss.. regardless of that we’ll definitely order again!

Another fabulous takeaway last night from my favourite place to eat. Ordered online and only waited 40 minutes at the most. Food was piping hot, full of flavour and the portions more than generous. A perfect end to my birthday...thank you

Worst Indian takeaway. Two thirds of my meat dishes were vegetables that tasted and looked as if it were covered in tomato ketchup. If I wanted vegetables I would have ordered vegetarian. Guess this restaurant thought it could capitalise on customers affected by the lockdown. Will never order from this restaurant again. When I phoned up to complain the person answering the phone was very rude.
