Nice little tea room with a good menu. It's a small menu but the food on offer is very good and more than enough to satisfy the humble traveler.I recommend a visit.

My best mate and I have recently started meeting up for a breakfast once every month of so. Today we visited The Bakehouse Cafe, we both had a full English, I added some optional black pudding. It was busy in there but the food was good and the service quick and friendly

First class, it was a very, very pleasant surprise indeed. I'm not that easy to please and it's the best breakfast I have had for many many years. 10/10 Robin.

Eclectic establishment. Today just a pot of tea and a share of a piece of carrot cake, very moist and tasty. Will be back to try their breakfasts or lunches.

We recently visited The Bakehouse Cafe whilst on a long weekend away. I must say that the breakfast was lovely, we both had eggs Benedict and coffee. Served with a smile and even some history about the lovely old building. Hope you can visit soon too!

Fantastic food, friendly staff, in a lovely location. Quite expensive but well worth the money for quality and generous portions.

Superb little place, fantastic staff, food and service. I have visited a few times now and would highly recommend, the staff are friendly and courteous. The food was beautiful and hot with a good selection of dishes for breakfast and lunch, the eggs benedict was delightful. They have a good quality selection of teas and coffee of along with refreshing cold drinks including elderflower and ginger beer. They have seating out to the front with views of the beautiful buildings along the street. I would highly recommend a visit.

Fabulous, quirky little place we found by chance when on holiday locally. Arrived quite late for lunch but gave us what we originally wanted up the road at The Three Chimneys (see negative review). A great ploughmans, great friendly service, and they even have a selection of bottled beers. A rare find.
