The staff were friendly and helpful lovely room and really good food. The restaurant menu was varied and good quality. The (inclusive) breakfast was really great with lots of choice. This is a great stay if you need to relax and chill out. We had birds tapping on the window saying welcome as well!!

This is a proper country pub with loads of charm and space to accommodate parties of every size. Dining with wide panoramic views across the Kent countryside as well as comfortable seating while having a beer. Highly recommended.

Popped in for drink and "meeting". Not been here for several years.Wow - extended and roomy, good atmosphere, friendly welcoming staff and food was gobsmacking. I had a nose at the menu not expecting to order food, but was tempted by the mouthwatering choices and settled for the fillet steak with Peppercorn and Cognac sauce. One of the best steaks I've ever had.Recommended and will go back. May try the breakfast Wed to Sat too with kids.

We were a group of 11. The food was delicious and hot, the staff were very helpful and friendly. Loads of space for cars and diners/drinkers. A very good selection of local beers well kept. Wine list good. Nothing bad to say.

Six of us ate here on a grey Sunday. The pub is in quite a remote location, but with a number of bracing walks in the area. Cozy bar area with real fire and some excellent local ales - I had an Old Dairy Red Top. Dining area is very spacious with big windows overlooking fields. Roast beef and lamb on the menu as expected but an eclectic set of options beyond that: venison terrine and an excellent leek, potato and lentil soup for starters, sea bass, saddle of rabbit, suet pudding of the week and impressive burgers for mains, and ginger parkin and chocolate marmalade bread and butter pudding for desserts. Friendly service and dog friendly. Recommended.

Great country pub on the North Downs above Charing. Well kept locally brewed real ales, good food, friendly efficient staff. Pub has been extended and modernised, but cosy bar area has been retained. Bed and breakfast is also available.

Remote pub in the middle of nowhere. Very nice welcome, and lovely people serving. Food was OK, nothing spectacular. My steak was a bit gristley; could not cut it with the knife. Pudding took a while to arrive, but that was perfectly tasty. Give it a go. Perfectly fine pub fare.

The service at The Bowl Inn is exceptional. We held our Dad's wake at the Bowl, the spread of food they provided was beautiful and very tasty. We booked 2 rooms last minute which included breakfast, making them fully booked. We cannot fault the room, the service, the food, the respect they gave our family and friends before during and after the wake! If you want to experience a proper country pub with fantastic staff you will not be disappointed with the Bowl Inn
