Originally popped in to this beaut of a pub, as a mid dog walk break. Wonderfully warming welcome for both humans and dogs alike! A great, quirky ale house, with tonnes of character and even a vinyl corner with a class selection of albums to play on the old record player. A vast selection of local beers, lagers, ciders and even some Kent made flavoured gins to keep the Mrs. happy! Well worth a visit.

Excellent. A surprise on a "shopping village" on the outskirts of Ashford. Great beer and friendly staff. Food looked good though I didn't sample, and will next time. A gem.

Another happy evening spent here enjoying good food and live music. What more could you ask for? Always a warm welcome from Duncan and Claire who are really enthusiastic about giving their customers a great experience. Smiles all round and nothing too much trouble. This is a small pub with a very special character and is well worth checking out. We'll be back!

A quaint little place with lots to offer. We went to attend a fund raiser for a young maned Oli. There were lots of cars in the car park as part of the fund raiser and my kids liked it.If you are visiting take the time to sample their hand cut chunky chips. Some of the best I have had.

Friendly and welcoming, faultless food, top quality, fresh and local ingredients, and you can choose your own music. Definitely not run of the mill. If you want something a little out of the ordinary then the Dog House is for you. 10/10

What a place, the absolute embodiment of a local pub serving the community. Brilliant beers, great food and hosts who cannot do enough for you. Also had an open mic night going on when visited which had a fantastic atmosphere. Only wish I could have stayed longer. A must visit.Also, google maps has the opening hours wrong, make sure you check the website
