The Hare and Hounds in Ashford

Great little pub in the middle of the gorgeous countryside!! Beer tasted amazing, and they even keep there glasses in the freezer!!! Brilliant place.

Had a lovely party. Didn't know about the function room.staff were a great help.

Lovely food and very friendly people.

Stopped off for a bite to eat, didn’t make a booking as just passed the pub by luck. Had the buttermilk chicken burgers that were beautiful, tasted chips and fresh salad on the side. Lad behind the bar was lovely too who served us!! Will be coming back!

Excellent meal for all 4 of us - home made steak pudding, mash and veg all cooked perfectly. Always really good, hearty pub food and you never leave hungry. Thank you.

This Victorian Pub is very traditional serving a range of Beers and Pub Grub. The beer and food is of a good standard and well priced.My reservations are woth the range of Beerscon offer. I am a Beer drinker and having only one Hand Pumped Beer is a little disappointing. Though with the uncertainty of regular custom created by Covid who can blame them?

Well that was a lovely lunch today...... the nicest Liver & bacon with delicious hot fresh vegetables I've ever had ..... absolutely delicious 😋

Cracking pint of Guinness after a walk. Friendly staff and good atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Have not been to the Hare and Hounds in such a long time, why did I wait. Met up with a friend for a catch up, ok a gossip...like ladies at lunch do. We spent a good few hours sitting under the umbrells on a hot day. Was fairly busy, but safe distancing and masks worn. The menu was varied and reasonably priced.We had the cheese and ham ploughmans and drinks. Ploughmans was nicely presented, all the usual trimmings, warm rolls and crackers. Very filling, and enjoyable. Service was prompt and non intrusive.Worth the money, and will visit again, hopefully not leave it too long this time.
