The Kennington in Ashford

Overpriced. My suggestion, £9.95 standard carvery, £14.95 all you can eat. We paid £48.50 for two people with one drink and pudding. You can go to a decent restaurant for the same.

Wife's birthday lunch, food good ,general service good,was very pleased only one criticism too many young staff and only one old enough to order and get drinks not saying they shouldn't employ youngsters just need more than one person able to order anything especially when it's very busy

Had a meal for the first time in a few years at the Kennington carvery and always had a great meal and service was always like a family run business so its hard to say that this time we came was a very different experience.This was mainly to the waitress who served usDon't like to give poor reviews but thought this was needed to highlight staff issues and maybe she was having a bad day but unfortunately thats not a fault of a customer .Very abrupt and to the point of being rude when we was just pointing out 2 of the drinks we ordered had not come out yet, then just prior to trying to order desert she dropped a empty ice cream glass that went every where covering another persons jacket and did not even apologise to him and walked off ! Other staff where left to sort out her mess.Again sorry to give a negative feedback but on a positive side the food was great and the guy behind the servery (who has been there a long time) was also great and a credit to how things should be done.Wish you all the best and hopefully it was just a one off as i mentioned been here previously and service was lovely.

This place is uber cool. Such a lively interiors and warm welcoming atmosphere. Bar is cool specially Emma remembers every drink you ordered. Best part was dancing on floor with good selection of songs by DJ. I had the time of my life

A small car park but easy to find. A good buffet and disco. Unfortunately 2 waiting staff had good reasons not to work their shifts. This meant that we were sitting at the table for 4 hours becauseshort staffed. The manager was apologetic. Friendly staff.

First time this evening with my mum.Arrived for reservation at 7pm, the carvery was very much stocked up even though they close at 7.30pmVery impressed.The food was to die for. The staff were amazing nothing was too much trouble.Fabulous service will definitely be going back 10 out of 10 from me.Your staff are super friendlyThank you 😍

Absolutely beautiful meal all the meats succulent and tender cooked to perfection... lots of vegetables great choice also the food was good and hot. The staff were professional polite helpful and friendly. I will definitely be returning for the carvery. Thankyou all involved for making the experience a pleasant enjoyable meal 1st class.

We've had their takeaway Sunday roast three times now and it's been excellent every time. Quality ingredients well cooked, freshly "plated" and generous servings with a lot of choices for which veg and extras like chipolatas. The website for ordering is a bit clunky but easy enough to navigate and so far has been very reliable.Collection by car is easy... Collection slots are 30 minutes long and after you park, someone takes your name and a few minutes later the food appears on one of the tables for you to collect - all very efficient and socially distanced. Staff are super friendly too!

It's a large venue that serves proper British Sunday roast using seasonal veg proper goose fat spuds and fine cuts off meat you can go up as much as you want as well for extra meat and stuffOnly downside didn't see any dark french mustard but Colman's was there fast fast drinks service all in all a good experience limited parking so make a reservation
