Went to lunch at The King's Head in Wye, Kent yesterday and had an amazing time.My partner and I shared a small plate of Hen of the woods and I followed that with their outstanding Crab burger and chips and my partner had Muscles. My partner had Dark Chocolate Fondant and I had Cambridge Burnt Cream. The food was seriously delicious and service from Patrick, Lexi, Tiger and Archie was professional and absolutely outstanding. We would highly recommend The King's Head, Wye. This is a little gem in the Kent countryside. We would like to thank the owners Chris and Debs for a fantastic time.

Absolutely amazing stay! Rooms spacious and impeccably clean! All toiletries, tea, coffee, hot chocolate facilities in the room. And a very warm welcome from the hosts.Varied menu for breakfast which was , by the way, included. An inspired choice to get away from busy London! 😊A big Thank you to everyone @Kings Head.

Went for lunch on a quiet Tuesday, the bar was nice and airy with a good selection of beers on offer. The staff were great, very friendly and attentive but not too intrusive. I didn't think I'd get too excited about a chicken and bacon sandwich but it was really, really good -served with a lovely side salad and chips. We will definitely be going back next time we are in the area or when I get a hankering for another sandwich.

Cosy bar area, but dining area rather plain and cool. Elegant dishes, like pastrami trout, but we found them very salty, so dessert was very welcome. Menu said trout would be served with soda bread, but this turned out to be a few very small croutons.

Live locally won't be going back. It was bad enough half the food for Christmas Dinner was stone cold. Made a complaint asked for a call back. Never recieved Then we decided to try and support a local business ordered 5 pizzas .. absolutely awful .. highly recommend avoid unfortunately..

Came for lunch and had the Korean chicken and also the burger, food was amazing! Presented well and full of flavour! Service was top notch and very attentive. Our host Andrea had great wine knowledge and gave us recommendations that really helped to complete both our meals. Would definitely recommend and we will be back! Well done to everyone! A+

We have stayed here for two nights in one of there premier rooms. The apartment is well equipped and spacious offering excellent views of the North downs. The facility offers restaurant dinning and also a takeaway pizza service. We took advantage of both and were not disappointed. Situated in the heart of Wye village the Kings Head offers a magnificent option for staying in a quiet and quaint English village.

First visit to this place since I was a kid and that's quite a few decades ago now! Glad to see it still thriving all those years later.Visited for a weekday lunch with my aunt after a walk over the Downs so was more than ready for something to eat.The service was extremely good and the food superb - thoroughly enjoyed the freshly cooked fish and chips. Cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious! If I had one gripe it was the use of the word 'guys' to address us. Must have heard it at least 10 times during the meal! However, that aside, i thoroughly enjoyed the visit and look forward to coming back soon!

We had a lovely 2 night stay in the King's Head Wye. Our room was on the second floor up fairly steep steps. I felt sorry for the elderly couple staying on the same floor as us!! The room was clean and tidy and well kitted out with a bath and shower available. Paint was starting to peel off the wooden window frames but I only noticed this because I spent ages looking out at the view of Wye crown. Our room was more than adequate. The staff were friendly and polite. Nothing was to much trouble. We ate in the restaurant which has changed considerably since I got down on one knee and proposed to my now wife 32 years ago. The food was great although £28 for a bottle of Merlot was steep. We slept well on a memory foam mattress & went down for breakfast which was full English. It wasn't large but it beat me & I had to leave some. Everything tasted wonderful. There was so much flavour. Best breakfast for a very long while. We headed out for a walk to the "Crown" and back which was around 5 miles & ended up having a drink in a pub by the river. We had a lovely weekend in an amazing location and I thoroughly recommend a visit
