Been to this place many times. Always good to service. Visited for a christening on Sunday and used the room upstairs. Nice function room and the food provided was excellent.

I love the Chimneys. Recently under new management it's a really good pub. Staff are friendly and the beer is good. It's roughly split into three sections with a restaurant area, bar area and a good sized beer garden. The menu is nice and the food is typical pub fair.Overall cannot fault it as a local

Staff really friendly.Food was absolutely disgusting roast dinne if that’s what you could call it 🤮frozen veg / frozen roast potatoes/ meat with fat on it. This restaurant really needs to be investigated. I won’t be going back until it has. It’s a same because it could be a great pub. It’s big for functions parties.etc it needs a salad bar>. Pizza oven.>Carvery Every Sunday> kids fun menu > it’s bigger enough to Cater all these things and a play area outside. If they won’t this pub to work 🤞🏻

The worst food I've had in a long time . I have no idea how you make a steak look so perfectly cooked but when I tried it, it was like eating a boot . Probably been frozen . And as for the garlic bread 😂 it was horrible . Might as week had a whole garlic in my mouth then washed it down with oil . Never will I ever go there again . I could cook better food blindfolded.

I am really sorry the people that work there are absolutely lovely and maybe the chef but when you go for Sunday dinner you want everything fresh and everything wasn’t and even our pork with crackling didn’t even come with crackling and the pork was like it’s not even be cooked so I am sorry to get this out maybe they need to get another Sunday chef because if you’re going to do a Sunday dinner only be a Sunday dinner with fresh vegetables

We had to wait ages for our roast, vegetables were rock hard, pigs in blankets were under cooked so was the stuffing ball, no Yorkshire pudding on one of the plates, wasn't aloud to order any sides. Very slow service, one didn't have a clue what she was doing. Two hours for 2 courses, two cappuccino's like warm. a joke.

8 of us went in for my girlfriends birthday. First of all, menu needs rewriting as the roasts don’t come with all the trimmings, some come with bits and others don’t. We wanted to order a portion of pigs in blankets to be told we wasn’t able to, but then the table behind us was able to? 4 roasts ordered, 1 rump steak, 1 ribeye, 1 brisket burger and a child’s roast. I use the term roast very loosely as 3 smallish potatoes, a couple of burnt parsnips and meat doesn’t constitute a roast in my opinion. So in total 5 roasts ordered and only 2 bowls of veg delivered, maths doesn’t work out there? I had roast pork with crackling, but the crackling was like playdoh. The beef was fatty on my girlfriends roast. Overall, the roast dinners were very poor and not worth the money. They didn’t have rump so instead a ribeye was chosen as a replacement. Was asked for as med-rare. Came out well done. The other ribeye was also well done when asked to be medium. The desserts were ok. Apart from the tiramisu which for the price was deffo not worth it. It’s was basically a slither and eaten in 3 bites. At £2.10 a bite the diner felt robbed. The blackberry and apple crumble with flapjack crust was also a let down. Definitely microwaved and so was the sticky toffee pudding. Biscoff sundae wasn’t bad in fairness. There seemed to be no sort of bother from the wait staff. Seemed like they didn’t want to be there. Didn’t come back to us with the answers to the questions that we had asked. Overall the best part of £200 quid spent and not very satisfied. Won’t be going back.

Welcoming atmosphere. Zara who showed us to our table was super friendly. Waiting staff efficient food lovely and didn't wait long for our meals

Staff are always really friendly and the food is okay. Often we have to stand waiting for a member of staff to get a table, and sometimes they don't have the things on the menu and don't realise until you've been waiting for the food for a little while. Good food choice.

Had a family meal here to celebrate a birthday. Food and service were of good standard. Been here before but now under new ownership. Good selection of drinks and food.
