The Old Mill in Ashford

A wonderful pub in a lovely setting with great food!! Went there for the first time yesterday afternoon. We sat outside on the patio and had a great meal. We had nachos, vegan burgers, steak and ale pie and creme brûlée. Everything was really tasty, the staff was great and the atmosphere outside was really nice too. A quite dreamy afternoon!! Would love to return some day…

Visited on a Sunday with a party of 6 and the service and food was wonderful. Food is well cooked with generous portions. A very special mention to the staff as we had some pretty specific needs for one of our party who is disabled and nothing was too much trouble. They were amazing and a credit to the Old Mill. Would highly recommend to anyone with accessibility needs.

I’ve visited the old mill many times over the last 10 years. For work dinners. With my husband. Socially with friends.I’ve never had any problems with food or service.Nice varied menu. Average price. Good quality and a nice setting. It’s tucked on outskirts of town away from any other buildings.Good choice for a nice place to eat. Highly recommend the brie, ribs and butter chicken.Would not hesitate to return or to recommend.

Booked this restaurant as I’ve read good things, wish I hadn’t…ordered 2 porterhouse steaks at over £30 each and firstly they wasn’t cooked as we asked (medium rare) and secondly they was very chewy. Sent them back and we thought we’d go for the fillet as you can’t normally go wrong with that.., after waiting for over 20 minutes we decided to leave. Had a fantastic Indian instead.

Really yummy food with good portion sizes. Good drink options (including cocktails) Lots of outside and inside seating. Very attentive staff.

Great food, at reasonable prices, in a very pleasant setting. My wife is in a wheelchair - which we noted on our online reservation form. When we arrived the table had books under the legs to raise it to the right hight for wheelchair use 😀 👍 Excellent service. Thoroughly recommended 👌

Took two friends and haven't been for a while. Greeted and were asked if we wanted to sit straight away, have a drink at the bar or as it was a lovely night outside. Which was a nice touch. Had three courses and all were mouth watering lovely ( pork belly,just falls apart). Service was spot on. Great evening

Best place where I want to go again and again. Not expensive, big meals. Delicious.

A really nice pub, friendly staff, good decor, great food with a special menu as well. A nice selection of vegetarian food. The linguine was very nice. Lots of space we had a pram abs dinnertime in a wheelchair and there was still plenty of room.

Fantastic meal, in such a beautiful place... well recommended...🙂
