Nice looking country pub. People were eating but still wearing their coats Place was freezing and the staff didn't seem to notice. Shame really but won't rush back

As removal men who travel all over the UK, we can definitely say the red lion is one of the friendliest we've visited. Warm friendly atmosphere, Good food and beer. Big shout out to the lovely Sarah and her staff for making us feel welcome.

Had my Mum's funeral at the Red Lion few weeks ago. Buffet was varied & plentiful. They were very accommodating to having pics up of Mum & a church candle going through the day. The ambience at Mum's was truly a celebration of her life & the staff certainly helped with the smooth running of the day. My husband & I went back yesterday & food was great plus service. We will most definitely return! Thank you all.

Nice country pub, decent beer on tap. Marked down for the food price. A tenner for 6 scampi and a handful of cheap frozen french fries was taking the P.

Popped in here late morning for a coffee when on a cycle ride. Good coffee, nice out door seating area and the inside looked nice. Got chatting to a couple of locals and everyone seemed very friendly. Might well return for a more serious visit !

Last minute booking, tick. Catered for husbands gluten free, tick. Clean a table after we sat down cos it was a better table, tick. Very impressed will visit this old fashioned pub again.

Friendly staff, only had a quick drink following a funeral but a nice pub affected by covid. Outside seating now available and has a pizza oven and menu that I unfortunately couldn't sample. But pub worthy of support.
