My daughter and I came last month and are going again today. Its such a lovely place to visit as we live locally. Its free entry, which is almost unheard of now days, so a great afternoon out with the kids if you have limited funds. The animals are well looked after and respected, the staff are always happy and helpful. The cafe is vegan. We are not vegan, but the food is utterly delicious. I can't stop thinking about the chocolate torte I had there, it was the best I have ever had. It's a wonderful experience to have peacocks around your feet when having a nice coffee.Overall, it is well worth a visit.

The food was AMAZING. Huge portions and very good value for money. The set up is brilliant and the fact that people are volunteering to make it all happen is incredible. I wish I lived closer to be able to volunteer regularly. Thank you for everything you do.

Lovely place, delicious food at the cafe which is entirely vegan. I felt very safe taking my 1 year old daughter who has egg and cow milk allergies. Staff are all so friendly we had a very enjoyable day out.

Amazing vegan food and a great day out. The staff are really friendly, passionate and dedicated to the amazing work they do. I’d recommend it to anyone, vegan or not.

A fabulous day out - I love it. Spending time with the animals is always a treat, watching their different characters and the way they enjoy their environment. The food in the cafe is delicious (I had 2 cakes!). I like to have a mooch in the charity shop and always find something lovely. I purchased bird food from the shop and fed the array of different birds that were wandering around.

Lovely retreat and Vegan friendly. Looking forward to visiting again soon 😀 we saw cows, sheep, horse, various birds and horses. We even saw some cats 🐈

Wonderful fully vegan food at the café with a big menu. I had my 60th birthday party there complete with vegan prosecco. The proceeds from the café and on site charity shop go towards the upkeep of their rescue menagerie. Well worth a visit.

OK, so much to say....this place is amazing, wonderful, inspiring and fantastic for Vegans who love animals and ‘meat-eaters’ who want to! I can’t think of any other place that puts animals first like this place does. The love is everywhere and it’s catchy. You can get close to all these beautiful friends and really feel like the place is making a difference. The cafe is nothing short of fantastic too, as is the service and the food, which is all 100% Vegan. If you want your kids to understand and appreciate animals, their importance, their welfare and how they need our love and help, then this is it. Be sure to support them while you’re there as it’s free entry so donations are vital. I LOVE THIS PLACE AND ALL THE VOLUNTEERS, THEY ARE AMAZING1
