Good service with freshly cooked food available. There was a good variety on offer to meet most dietary requirements and tasted great. Good value

Lovely pub, lovely setting, very friendly staff, good food, plenty of parking. Lots of outdoor seating.

Fabulous looking country pub with a great interior in the dining room and a fine bar with an open fire. Menu was well above/beyond the usual gastropub fare which is always promising and staff looked and sounded cheerful and efficient.I'll make a small complaint as instead of ordering a main meal I ordered 2 starters and they came at the same time making the second one not quite so tasty as it had cooled by the time I'd got through my soup. Was the soup microwaved as I noticed it was superior in the middle!!All in all a pleasant pub and dining experience.

Popped in for a 'late in the day sunday roast' on our journey home. The greeting we recieved, the service we had and the food we ordered was all excellent. Not a dry roast that you may expect late on a Sunday when the kitchens are about to close. A roast fresh and extremely tasty. We were completely impressed and most thankful after a day out in the fresh air. The pub is welcoming, cosy warm and invitingDefinately recommend👍

Had a brilliant evening meal, at this rustic gastro pub. Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff & delicious food, ample parking, handy as this is out in the beautiful Pluckley village. Prices very reasonable, I'd happily go again, totally recommend you give it a try.

Kim and her team did a top job for mum's wake. The venue was ideally suited for our event with 50 guests. The staff were all very polite, respectful and efficient. Prior to the event, they ensured that the room was setup as we requested and were very flexible in accomodating our wishes. We received many comments from our guests regarding the quality of the buffet food and when we went back the next day to pick up the bits we left there we stopped for lunch which was really good. This gem of a pub is a little off the beaten track but we'll worth the visit. There is a good circular 45min walk and being dog friendly, we will definitely return for a spot of lunch.

Lovely country pub & setting. Plenty of parking. Historic architecture inside, great atmosphere. Log fire lit. That's always a plus in a pub! Modern & traditional menu. Service with a smile. Attentive yet discreet service, obviously know about hospitality. Food - excellent. If you are in the area its well worth a visit. 10/10.P. S. Thanks for the good luck wish about my new job.

My husband and I were out driving and came across this lovely pub. We had lunch (The chips are amazing).The staff are really friendly and attentive and always wearing a smile.
