The Secret Garden in Ashford

Had my wedding here. Not cheap but you get excellent, faultless service and a stunning venue even in February as seen in the photo below . Even Herself was impressed! Happy to recommend for whenever you need to tie the knot!

Had a lovely gluten free cream tea, everything was delicious. The cheese straw were especially good.

We visited for a golden wedding party, not for the garden (which did look very well maintained). The in-house catering was superb - a (very well) home-made character, a nicely presented varied mix of savouries and cakes. Very fresh, and a good supply of doggy bags which people crammed full!

Amazing venue and super cool team. One of my favourite wedding venues in Kent with stunning gardens, with inside and outside ceremony options. Highly reccomended.

We had our wedding reception at The Secret Garden in June and could not have asked for more. From our very first viewing of the venue the team were so helpful and willing to share their experience and knowledge with us. They made us feel at ease with the sometimes daunting process of wedding planning.The venue is absolutely beautiful and the staff so attentive.We knew the day would be perfect but it surpassed anything we could have wished for and a lot of this was down to the SG team. We had so many compliments from guests on the venue, particularly the food which some of our friends are still talking about 6 months on!Thank you Steph, Harry and team for our perfect day and all of your help and support.

We held our wedding here and it was, no exaggeration, PERFECT. From our initial meeting right up to the day after the event, the team at Secret Garden were fantastic, they run an incredibly smooth operation and really are experts at hosting events. They had already thought of everything, meaning all we had to do was pick what we wanted on the day - easy! They were also more than happy to help organise with other external vendors we used on the day, so that was something else we didn't have to worry about! Our guests all had a wonderful time and were all so impressed with how good the food was (we had the Feasting Menu - which was a lovely, more informal alternative to the normal table service), how gorgeous the venue was, and how relaxed the day was. Would strongly recommend to anyone looking to hold any type of event, not just weddings, the team at Secret Garden are a pleasure to work with.

We got married here in August and were completely blown away by how well everything went, it's definitely testament to the team at the secret garden.They were extremely helpful with preparations leading up to the wedding which made the day run so smoothly.We both felt very well looked after and the whole day was so well organised. I booked The Secret Garden for my friend’s hen do/afternoon tea. From the pre-arrangements to the day itself, the staff could not have been more helpful and accommodating. Everyone was so friendly. We had some quite specific dietary requirements and the chef catered for us all so well. It was the best vegan afternoon tea I have experienced. The venue is absolutely beautiful too. Thank you all for a fabulous day.

My family planned my baby shower in one of their event rooms here at The Secret Garden and it was absolutely beautiful. The afternoon tea and cakes were stunningly presented and tasted just a lovely. The grounds are well kept and beautiful to walk through and the service and staff were on hand constantly if we needed anything particular. 3 hours just didn't seem long enough but it really was such a wonderful day and a wonderful venue. Would recommend 100%

A lovely venue for a wedding (or party) with a separate room for your wedding ceremony - a well stocked bar that is in the same room as your wedding breakfast and wedding disco is held in - well maintained grounds for those all important outside wedding photos - delicious food - helpful staff that will ensure your day runs smoothly.
