Lovely village pub with stream running along the side. Sat in beer garden to hear the flowing sound of water, very relaxing as I drank a pint of bitter.

Great pub. Bikers night is Thursday night from 6PM. Lots of old and new bikes and burgers

I just had lunch here with my teenaged sons. The food is definitely plentiful and cooked very well. Good diverse menu if proper pub food to suit all budgets and tastes. The wonderful people who served us in the garden were very engaging too and advised us that the chef, who must be a rising star, is very dedicated and passionate. I genuinely wish more pubs had this food offering as the prices were fair and the food standard and portions were by no means miserly. Very well done to you all.

Lovely community Pub. Good atmosphere. Food typical “Pub Grub”, very good portions but no finesse. I ordered the Moules & Frites (which you pay extra for?!!) good sized mussels and tasty sauce BUT………… 10, yes 10 dead/unopened mussels so probably a third of my meal inedible?!!!!! Waitress and Chef both said “This happens” no apology or gesture……. VERY disappointing!!!!!!

Great traditional old pub with a warm welcome and amazing food. There are no words to describe how good the food is. Be prepared for large portions too. Its our favourite go to pub whatever the occasion, evening or lunchtime and we are over half an hours drive away!

Such an amazing pub with fantastic food, welcoming staff and a beautiful setting! We found this pub as we were looking for a halfway point between Kent and Surrey and this popped up on goggle maps and was such a great find! There was 6 of us that ate dinner and none of the food disappointed, we basically had one of each of the starters and they all came out hot and mouth watering. The mains held up to the starters with the pie being a favourite, it truly was the best pie I have ever eaten and brought a tear to my eye the pastry was so short and crusty with the pie itself being filled right up to the top. With the desserts finishing off the meal perfectly, in the party we had 2 trained chefs and they were in awe of the quality level of the food we will certainly be traveling down again and enjoying another meal again. Can't recommend the place enough 5 out of 5

I had Sunday roast there and it was worth every penny. The waitress and the bar staff gave you time. It was a pleasure to eat there and I shall return in the near future. Well done to the kitchen staff who cook my meal & to those who work behind the scenes. Thank you 👍

Had a wonderful Christmas meal here. Food was really nice, good sized portions, even had a complimentary lemon sorbet between the starter and main. Owners are friendly and pub is very cozy inside. Overall would recommend, good value as well

Super friendly staff and an open fire. Can't go too far wrong. High chairs for the little man and some very good ham, egg and chips (very generous with the ham)

What a great place. One of our party had particular needs and the staff accommodated these beautifully. They couldn’t have been more helpful. My meal was absolutely delicious. I had a creamy chicken pie. So a great evening all round. Highly recommended. The place deserves to do well.
