Had good food plenty of it did not have room for pudding but had a takeaway pudding staff very friendly could not do enough for you we'll be back again and will recommend to family and friends

Disappointing had steak on the hot plate was covered in spitting Smoke eyes watering …. Mashed potato should be buttery and light was stodgy and dry no decent side dishes ie mushrooms , tomatoes, cauliflower cheese ,would have preferred a plate as couldnt get close and it was so hot ! 😏

Great pub, good and great value food. Loved the beer garden with nice tables and kids zone (swings, toys and soft play toys).

Large, hearty dishes. Good variety of local beers on draught and staff always smiling - what moe do you want?I would recommend spending a bit of time and money upgrading the outdoor children's play area prior to summer as it's not currently fit for purpose.

Nice historic pub and restaurant. Good food and great service, would thoroughly recommend.

What a fantastic place to go for something to eat very generous portions wonderful staff and great service the atmosphere of this pub is superb spend a lot of your time just looking round at the trinkets around the room it’s a must make sure you go there tomorrow. We had lunch today

Roast dinner wasn't fantastic. Found a hair in each of mine and my friends dinner and also a silver wire part from a stainless steel cleaning scourer pad. Thru were good in regards with no hesitation on deducting 2 meals from the bill but this shouldn't have happened in the first place. We will not be returning.

My husband and I went out for a lunch date, staff were very polite and friendly and had a good knowledge of specials and the food served generally. Had a steak that you cook yourself at the table it was a fun experience something different and tasty. Very good value for money they offer a good range of meals at a budget price and starter and main deals for £12. Beautiful pub, has great outside space with a play area for children, look forward to visiting in the summer with the children
