A wide selection of food although quite a few dishes seemed to be off the menu. The roast was very tasty, especially the pork belly, and the wine selection is good. The bar could be improved by serving some more real ales but otherwise a very pleasant experience

Our first visit, easy to book a table. Slightly chaotic checking in to get our table. Drinks order got messed up but got sorted. Nice side rooms which are not too busy, nice comfy seating and good amount of room at the table. Nice menu. Veggie roast option not very good. Yorkshire puddings over cooked. Good service although we got moved as they wanted to get a table for 10 ready and they didn’t say this when we weee first seated. So work to be done on communication and attention to current guests over future guests. Nice location and we would certainly come back.

My prawn starter ranked supreme. I enjoyed every bite of my salmon dinner--fab veggies too. Everyone in my party enjoyed their meals. What a find whilst visiting the area.

Went for valentines day meal. Really nice food. Dessert and the melting chocolate bomb was amazing!Only downfall was our deposit paid at booking wasn't taken off the bill until asked being a pessimist makes me wonder if that happened to everyone until they query it, just for the pub to get a bit of extra money back if people don't notice.

Menu looks good but decided on recommended dirty burger. It was OK but nothing to write home about. My wife had a plant based vegan burger which was pretty poor. A decent chef with imagination can make a great vegan / vegetarian burger if they try but alas not this time.

I admit, I visit here quite a lot, none the less, the staff are excellent, and very friendly. The food is always good, and the pairing of wine is pleasing. Classy, but still allow your dog in half the areas too. Additionally, recently had a huge refurbishment. 5/5.

Had a lovely Xmas day meal here yesterday. The staff were friendly and attentive from the start, food delicious, hot and tasty, lovely atmosphere. Nicely presented too. Will definitely consider coming back next year. Thank you to all.
