Fantastic Turkish restaurant set in rural Buckingham. Amazing vegetarian food, meat dishes available if that's your thing. Whopping portion sizes, so arrive hungry. Falafel recommended!

Nice little restaurant with really tasty food. Big portions and beautifully cooked. Table staff really helpful, good value for money. A little noisy due to the building it's housed in but well worth a visit for a delicious and hearty meal.

So let down, my family decided to go out together for a meal and try this restaurant for the first time. One party of four walked out due to the time they waited and still hadn't even received their drinks, a couple only had their starters paid and left as they wern't happy. Our started were ok, we ordered more drinks for three of us, two cokes eventually turned up the glass of wine ordered didn't, we told the waitress, some time later a completely different wine than was ordered turned up, then a few minutes later another different wine turned up, very confusing!!!! Four of the main course turned up the other two didn't, a waitress looked at the table and disappeared a considerable time later the other two mains arrived, one was cold, the waitress was told, she apologised and sent it back, it was returned a while later bubbling at the side due to being put in a microwave, the middle was still Luke warm. I gave up decided I would just pay and have a sandwich when I got home, I was told my meal had been taken off of the bill and again the waitress apologised. I still paid a very large bill for a ruined evening, what should have been an enjoyable family meal out was stressful with everyone feeling uncomfortable because we couldn't eat together. I was told that four people had gone off sick, well all I can say is the person in charge of the evening service should have rung and said they were unable to cater for us. My number was taken when I booked the table, was that just in case I let the restaurant down by not turning up? Should it not be the duty of the restaurant to make me aware if they can't provide a proper service? All I can say is what an expensive let down, and never again!!!!!!!

Had a lovely lunch here yesterday, service was slow but we wasn't in a rush so it didn't matter to us. We both had the Lamb kebabs and they were LUSH! Good quality meat cooked well and seasoned perfectly. Even the accompanying salad was a delight. slightly pricey for a lunch but as an evening meal very reasonable. We will be back.

More than 40 minutes delay for eggs and sausages! Tea got cold while awaiting the breakfast. The owner should fear customers leaving if things not seriously improved. Won’t come back again!

We entered around 8pm and we were fortunately to get a table for 2We only ordered a main course each but it took around an hour to come out.When you see the size of the kitchen upstairs you can understand why service might be on the slow side.The saving grace was the food very tasty, well presented and extremely filling.We both enjoyed our food and if we lived closer we would certainly be going back

What an amazing place. The place was brilliant from start to finish. The service was excellent and the staff were all so polite and friendly.The Hot Meze platter was colourful and delicious.The portion Size was fair, we ordered a hot meze platter for 4 despite being 2 people.I had a creamy caramel hot chocolate as it was an icy cold day.Would highly recommend Black Pepper Turkish Restaurant in Buckingham.

Such a shame to have to give this review. We've been waiting ages to try this resturant. Last time we tried to order a takeaway they said they prefer to concentrate on their eat in diners...fair enough. BUT today, Wednesday evening, it was empty, so we ordered for a take away again.From the reviews, we thought would be amazing but absolutely gutted it was less than average meal.For the price £36 the portions were very small and was completely cold.The fries are obviously frozen ones, cooked and reheated..they were rock hard.My plate looked more on it because of the salad I put on, otherwise would have looked just at sad as the chicken and rice dish.The hummus..no way is that made there. Tastes EXACTLY the same as the Tesco one. The bread was hard and tastless, not made on site. It was like it was leftover from yesterday.We've tried several Turkish resturants and takeaways in Bletchley, Bedford and Oxford which have all been delicious. We are truly dissapointed with this offering from Black Pepper.Maybe the food would have been of a better standard if we dined in?We won't get to know, as put off by this experience.

Bad day at the office? Long waiting time, strange pricing on the menu, smoke filled restaurant, substandard food, poor service and just not a relaxing experience.Furthermore, founds hairs in my food (more than one).
