Blue Monsoon in Aylesbury Vale

Ordered from here with my partner last night,After what was over an hours wait. The food arrived and it was seriously disappointing. With the amount of oil and liquid in the curry it was hard to find abit that didn’t taste of anything but grease, The batter on the king prawn butterfly was not even batter im sure. ultimately this experience has ended up with both me and my partner being Sick wouldn’t recommend stay away!! Let down especially for people who live in winslow

Me and my partner usually love our curry from here but we haven't ordered since before the pandemic thought we would get our usual like before, it's sadly nothing like it use to be. Very watered down, no flavour. The lamb in my curry tasted abit chemically and very hard to chew. Absolute shame.

A disappointing curry. Staff were polite but but the gourmet night menu prices weren't particularly accurate, granted we went off course slightly but the price was vastly more for doing so. We never got offered the coffee either which is part of the 5 courses. Food was bland, the butter chicken and the korma were both the same in taste and looks. The keema naan was minimalistic in filling, only one small slice of meat for the entire bread. Decor inside is nice.

A very disappointing curry. We started with poppadoms, these were stale and greasy, not a great start. We went on a Tuesday, they have a gourmet dinner option. We ordered a few starters, including a mixed grill. The meat had obviously been warmed up, and was not cooked fresh, and this was true for all dishes we had. The plain naan was great, but the Kemal naan looked a bit sad on the inside with a lump of meet just floating in the middle. We had a butter chicken and a lamb korma, it became obvious these had the exact same sauce except the chicken dish had butter added. Overall a disappointing experience. No plans to return.

Very disappointed. The lamb curry had very few peaces of meat in. The chips were cold and soggy. And the mango chutney had no mango chunks in it and was warm and runny.

Takeaway meals always good, promptly delivered and with a smile. Restaurant is a different matter. If there's more than 3 tables dining they seem to go into melt down and just can't seem to cope. Long long waits, even between drinks orders. Surly waiters, soggy poppadoms. Real shame as the food is excellent quality

What a lovely welcoming place. Myself and my hubby spent a few days in Winslow and tried out the local Indian restaurant.Fantastic food and reasonably priced- especially on their mid week gourmet specials. Mo the manager was good fun too. Definitely worth a visit.

Enjoyed a lovely and very reasonably priced meal at Blue Monsoon last night. The service was brilliant and they even gave us a free drink at the end of the night. Would definitely recommend.

Have previously had positive experiences from this restaurant for our takeaways HOWEVER my experience tonight has left me refusing to order from here in the future.A simple phone call to the restaurant to ask where my delivery was as already ten minutes over the delivery time I was given - only to be met with an attitude from the supposed "manager" no apology was given and a simple response of 'I don't know, ask the delivery driver when he gets there' he said there's many reasons it could be late and was in no way apologetic or willing to help me as the paying customer. To add to this disappointment I was also told I should've been charged more, that where I've ordered from is too far etc. It's safe to say I was left feeling uncomfortable, attacked and let down by extremely poor and disgusting customer service. He continued to argue with me over the phone, couldn't care less about what I was saying and told me I could always order elsewhere, this is most definitely what I shall be doing!The delivery driver however I cannot fault, has always been pleasant and was very apologetic on behalf of his boss and wholeheartly agreed I shouldn't of been spoken to the way I was.I have told them I will be making my views on their customer service known and this is the start of that! The food is lovely but I feel customer service is huge and as a normal standard for ANYONE you should have some respect for the person you're speaking to. To be sspoken to the way I was by a manager especially, I thought was disgusting.New management for this place is a must!!!!
