A lovely joint birthday meal. Very well looked after and the meal was brilliant, especially the triple sunday roast. Dog friendly, relaxing atmosphere, welcoming staff and the food was served in good time and was lovely.

Excellent service by the log fire place. My food was prepared the way I like. Family & pet friendly if you have any. Used to pass it without giving a thought & how wrong I was.

Stopped off here to let the traffic slow down, lovely traditional pub with open fire. Friendly welcoming staff, a no fuss simple menu backed up with fantastic food. Well worth a visit if your passing, ample parking to the rear of the building

Popped in for a birthday lunch for my wife. I had a pesto and vegetable pizza. This was good. My wife had the fish and chips. This was good too. Would have appreciated more vegetarian options on the menu. Salad or pizza seemed to be it. As more people consider being vegetarian, I think The Bugle may be missing an opportunity there.Food was good and served hot, which is the main thing. Service was friendly and prompt.

My mother and I went for dinner recently. It was lovely to have the open fire as it was chilly outside. The welcome was friendly, food really good (both mains & desserts) and the service - from Grace - couldn't have been better. Will definitely return.

Had an evening meal here, booking the table earlier in the day.Arrived and there was lots of parking. The table had plenty of space around it and the room didn't feel crowded.The food selection is varied, plenty of choice for everyone. Food was gorgeous, hot and well presented.The staff were friendly, but did seem a little rushed at times, although we still felt relaxed.A good place for a nice meal, just off the main road. Definitely recommend.

Enjoyed a very nice Sunday Lunch here the other day. It was quite busy when we turned up but the staff were friendly and did their best to keep everyone happy. Would definitely go back anytime. 👍
