Very nice cafe with lots of choices, friendly staff but literally the biggest rip off £3 for can of Coke £4 slice of cake £10 for a hot dog and remortgage your house if you’re paying for a family

A nice airy building. Food was not great and the floor was disgusting. The hash brown and bacon bap had obviously been sat in the hot cabinet for a while - the bottom was like cardboard and my husband couldn't eat it all - it wasn't pleasant! My daughter had the kids lunch box - the ham sandwich was ok, but the bread was very dry. I had a chicken with chilli mayo wrap - it was nice but the salad had gone a bit limp so it didn't taste freshly made. With two cups of tea our lunch was just over £20! Not good value for money. The floor was covered in food and mud - I can accept the mud due to it being a cafe in woodlands - but the dropped food was really unpleasant. No one seemed to be cleaning the tables or sweeping the floor. Such a shame as it could be a lovely place to eat!

Always a great place to enjoy a coffee and cake, sandwich, snack not forgetting a doggie Ice cream! It is a welcoming place with ample seating and plenty of water bowls for dogs. Thoroughly recommend.

The facilities are fantastic, clean, organised and very well setup within regards to the COVID-19 measures.Drinks are varied and acceptable price and quality. However the food is poor. This is a nicety.I got a chicken burger that was £5.95. it was lukewarm at best. The quality of the ingredients were the cheapest available, minced breaded chicken burger, not big enough to fill the bun (£0.80 at best), bun (£0.14), a chunk of tomato cut with a teaspoon. Luck if it cost more than £1.20. If paying more than this to make, then there is a fundamental lack of effort. So a huge mark up!Chips so cold the cheese didn't melt on them. The children's pack lunches where awful, poor sandwiches wrapped in a piece of cling film with only one side of the bread buttered, a poor effort for £5.It is a beautiful cafe, loads of space, no competition, in a perfect location and it is producing such poor quality, over priced food! The hospitality industry is on its knees begging to open and one of those can open are producing this awful offer.Pack lunch next time for us!

Lovely cafe, large enough for busy days yet still feels cozy and relaxing, especially on a rainy day in the woods. Staff very friendly and approachable. Highly recommend.

Very good Lavazza cafe and cake. It was nice to have a cafe after the walk. Nice area for hiking by the way.
