Had a great night staff friendly, food was amazing, definitely recommend.

Tried this restaurant for the first time, spent over £150 and had items missing from order when we got home, will never use them again.

I can understand SOME OVERBOOKING, but having 12 people waiting around 1/2 hour for their order as you are running late on your schedule it is ridiculous. Moreover, that I have to wait from 19 to 20:30 (you gave me the collection time) to be told"come back in other 20" is totally unacceptable, expecially if you are ALSO RUDE. Money back and another dinner to find. Total FAILURE; it's not the first time I got my Saturday dinner ruined by their lack of professionalism but sure thing it's the last.

Best Chinese around - hands down. Unfortunately it seems they are victims of their own success in a way because it gets extremely busy on weekends and they get swamped with orders. If you order a takeaway on the weekend be prepared to potentially wait a VERY long time (so long that in our house we will only ever order it on a weekday now). That being said, the food is fantastic and the dining-in experience is very good as well.

Lovely food but after ordering my takeaway last Saturday (as a walk-in) was told it would be a half hour wait, however that turned out to be an hour and ten minute wait!! Lots of others were waiting as long if not longer. The woman who took the order basically lied to everyone!! That's disappointing as, as I said, the food was good.

Very tasty food, Although the website prices are out of date, it is still reasonably priced. Even though other side of restaurant was empty, tables are quite close together and we were seat right next to a busy table.

My wife and I used to visit this restaurant nearly ten years ago because it was so good and I'm pleased to say it is just as good today.Four of us had the set menu, loads of dishes in the starter all excellent and all different. We each selected different main courses and all enjoyed our choice. The staff were quick, polite and very efficient. Polite and helpful all the way.Watching the waiter filleting a Sea Bass at the table was fascinating.Great experience.

I wasn't surprised that the food was so good given the long queue of people waiting for takeaways when we arrived! Food is really good and great value for money, especially if you get the set menu. Giving four stars rather than five because service is a little slow, but highly recommend.

Food here is varied and beautifully cooked. The table centres rotate to make sharing of dishes easy. A relaxed meal at a gentle pace and an atmosphere conducive to both lively conversation and chilling out.

Our first taste of the China Brasserie was an impromptu mid-week visit. Our staters arrived quickly, were well cooked and hot. This isn't always the case with Oriental food which can sometimes be lukewarm by the time it arrives at your table. The main course proved to be a little surprise, my partner in crime had ordered prawns with crispy noodles. Never having tasted that dish before they were shocked to discover the noodles were as crispy as a bag of pork scratchings. The dish was delightfully presented and looked stunning. Fortunately, my generous serving of noodles with beansprouts saved the day as we split it between us. The lemongrass chicken with satay sauce was delicious as is now on my 'go to' list and something I'll order again.Great food, well cooked, nicely seasoned and served by attentive staff.  Good job China Brasserie, (as Arnie kind of put it)  "we'll be back!"
