Been going to China Water for years and every time the food is delicious and the waiting staff friendly and attentive. Tonight was the first time we had a takeaway and it was as amazing as if we dined in. Would 100% recommend the restaurant and takeaway.

Excellent food, poor service. First time I have had my table cleared before I had finished my food. Such a shame as it put a dampner on the evening .

First takeaway experience there and not yet dined in. Good value and we enjoyed a well prepared duck dish and the mussels. Though the tempura vegetables would have been better if cooked a little longer. The batter was not crisp.

Definitely worth to pop in and try delicious dishes! Portions are generous, especially side noodles. Chilli and cashew prawns were just delicious. Worth the price as we were all satisfied with the food. I would give this place 5 stars, but it really needs to be properly cleaned, as dead flies on the window cill and chair, dirty windows and carpet just really spoil the place.. but you will definitely not regret the taste of their dishes! These are 5 stars!

Decided to visit at short notice, got there before restaurant opened but were invited to sit in the garden. This should have been a warning, seats were covered in debris and table hadn't been wiped. We were shown to our table and the black table cloth was stained with food. Our own stupid fault that we stayed and ordered. The food came out and one of the dishes had a black hair sticking out of the batter. We sent it back and they prepared another dish, my daughter tucked in only to find a black hair floating in the sauce. We told them and told them we were leaving. They asked us to pay for the drinks and half the bill. Under the circumstances we felt it should have been free. Apparently its never happened before. My daughter had to leave before she was sick. We stayed while the bill was paid and had a good look at the surrounding area. It was dusty and full of cobwebs, the window cills were dusty with fly droppings. Certainly would not recommend. None of us could face eating tonight even at home. 😢
