Food is mediocre, order at the bar and the wait wasn't too long. We had a little one with us and there was a good selection for kids. The staff member that served us was a bit grumpy but she may have just been having a rough day 🤷‍♀️ (spent many years in hospitality, we have all been there!). Wouldn't go again in a hurry for a celebratory meal but it is good pub grub. Has a pool table also 👍

Lovely food, I enjoy the curry night every Wednesday. The curry is better than the other restaurants in Aylesbury. Also, the price is very reasonable. The members of staff are also friendly here, with free parking.

Great meal until bar staff decided to put Man United game on in the restraunt area and put the volume up so high you can't hear yourself think. No consideration for those wanting to have a meal. Unable to hear each other so left and won't be returning.

Went to catch up with my friends and took my daughter along. Even with the limited menu the service was great and the team very engaging. Loved the atmosphere and great experience

Food was amazing. Came for my daughter's 16th birthday and the team on shift were fantastic, bubbly and was happy to help with any questions or needs high five to all 😁🙌👏 19/1/22

Food was very strange but the staff was pleasant. We ordered a childs tomato pasta which they didnt have tomato sauce and gave curry sauce and said it was theyre new sauce but not everyone has taken to it.I ordered a burger which i ordered for the burger to have stilton which was an option as a topper for the burger with sweet potato fries. Some of the sweet potato fries were undercooked and they put the Stilton on the sweet potato fries instead of the burger. My partner ordered a roast dinner which the mash was obviously croquettes of potato with the skin taken off which you could see by the shape of them on the plate. We tried to explained the issues and the staff were friendly but the excuses seemed poor. Will definitely not eat here again

Not a good meal went there with a group of colleagues for a Christmas meal. The starters came out OK. But when it came to mains meal they didn't have some of the components for one of the meals and found it hard to come up will am alternative . I could understand why we not called Prior to the meal as they had contact numbers.one off the meal came out with only two Brussels on and no other veg.The parsnips were so hard they were not eatable. They did offer the lady will the meal a free drink but it would hardly make for the lack of a meal. We asked for the bill at the end of the night but were told they were to busy to bring it so we went to the bar and had to queue up again . Altogether I would say I would not be visiting again .

The food can be very hit and miss. The pub itself is very rough around the edges.Over the years it has had it's moments of doing some great grub, but it regularly has periods where for whatever reason the standards just slip and it remains bad for a few months until they turn it around again and the standard gets better for a few months until it inevitably returns to previous bad standards. Rinse and repeat most years, unreliable, inconsistent quality/standards.

Not a bad pub, if a little rough around the edges but then you get what you pay for I guess. An expansive menu, although when it came to ordering I was advised some items were not available- which is becoming more common at the moment everywhere with distribution/staffing issues so fair enough! The woman on the till was very nice although absolutely rushed off her feet it seemed, it was apparent her shift had ended but she was trying her best to serve customers still, so fair play to her.I was in on a Monday so there was an offer on the steaks, whilst not the best steak I’ve ever had for the money you can’t go wrong really! I asked for medium-rare and that’s what I got, although no one came over to ask if my food was ok.I noticed that a lot of the staff seemed to know a lot of the other customers who were also eating, so a good locals relationship which is nice to see, but maybe a little more care for new/traveling customers wouldn’t go amiss. There’s an adequate car park outside the pub.

I’ve been a few times to the this lovely pub , and the food has been always good . Having said that, we’ve never been for a Sunday roast .We were both very unimpressed by the food .The Yorkshire puddings were absolutely tasteless and very hard after a few minutes, and the vegetables looked like they were very old .I think we were just expecting something different. On the positive side the dessert was really good .
