George & Dragon in Aylesbury Vale

Went ther for the "Authentic Thai" lunch with my Mum. We drove all the way fro Milton Keynes to Wendover, just to have lunch our Chicken Satay, Fish Cakes and Pad Thai; 2 courses for £10. My god it was so Tasty and gray value for money, very big portion mainscousre. Aom and her team are very friendly and welcoming. Go and try it, you will not be disappointed.

Highly recommend this quaint establishment if you are seeking authentic Thai food. The customer service was impeccable. The waitress was attentive and interactive. The service was orderly and well-timed. I was hungry and made that known lol! Within 10 minutes the side orders arrived. The mains came out not long after. Overall, it was pleasant and well priced. The dishes were so tasty and service team were exceptional. Highly recommend it and would advise yo book a table. The pub was busy.

Really lovely staff. We had 3 vegans in our group and we only realised nothing was vegan on the menu after ordering our drinks. :I (They use shrimp paste in the curries) Our mistake. However they were able to make a really nice tofu and cashew nut vegetable stir fry for us. It was actually really nice! Good portion size too. Very nice of them to accommodate us. So if vegan beware they don't have anything on their menu - hope this changes. But as it was out fault for not checking before i cannot fault them and they gave us really good service.

Really enjoyed our Thai dinner: tom yum soup, green curry and the crispy fish salad. All tasted great and had a good level of heat. Service was friendly and attentive, too.

Excellent and authentic food, brilliant service and a vibrant atmosphere. Great place for an evening out.

The restaurant area is lovely and warm, but the tables are really closed together and the floor is a death trap and an accident waiting to happen if you are wearing heels.The TV side is nice and open but very cold. The service was prompt if not very polite. The food is OK.I was disappointed no chop sticks.

Exceptionally happy with the food. Having been to Thailand, I can confirm that this is authentic food at brilliant prices, served quickly. Would recommend to anyone.

Went for the starter and main meal with a drink £13 offer. Absolutely lovely food. Came out hot and well presented.The only annoying thing was some the plates being cleared while others still eating.Made it feel like they were rushing us. It's a quaint village and the restaurant is also a drinking place. Would highly recommend.
