Mahabharat in Aylesbury Vale

Was a very nice restaurant with very friendly service from the manager Ali. Food came very quickly and was perfect, very filling.

Curry wasn't the best I've ever had. I've had better. Also for some reason when we ask for 2 kingfisher beers, they brought us 2 glasses with beer in and then 2 bottles as well. If that was included in the price of the beer it would have been fine, but they charged us for 4, we couldn't even finish the last one. For 2 of us it was around £50.

Had a veg platter starter and special thai, all of which was delicious; a mix of mild and spice, different textures and containing my most favourite taste of all, an onion bhaji. Enough for 2 or 3 meals for me altogether. Great food,great service xx

Really didn't enjoy this restaurant. Samosa's looked and tasted like they were frozen and bought from Iceland. The house white was absolutely disgusting and the lemonade was flat. The main meal was not to bad all though my wife who loves hot spicy food nearly burnt her mouth on a hot chilli which was in her jalfrazi. The best part of the meal was the nan bread. We are spoilt with Indian cuisine as we live in Birmingham and this restaurant would be out of business if it was located there such a shame as we will be visiting Winslow regularly now due to family

One of our favourite Indian resturants. Staff are always welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable regarding their menu. Happy to "tweak" dishes if required. Even able to reserve us a taxi when we couldn't find one.

I never do this but after my recent visit I feel moved to do so. I travel all over the UK with work and eat in many Indian restaurants, and I can say confidently this is best one I've eaten in. Spectacular food and vegetarian friendly to boot! 10/10 would go again, just wish I lived a little closer!

I love this town and have most of my life for the people are calm understanding and considerate.I have helped build this establishment to what we have today . Same owners and chef for over 25 years , visited by ministers , sports celebrities,race drivers and all my faverate locals

We decided to go out for a meal here on New Year's eve, we didn't have a booking but were seated straight away despite the restaurant being very busy. The service was quick and efficient, and despite it being busy the food came out very quickly. The portion sizes were very good and the food very tasty. Our waiter was very friendly and courteous. A great place to eat, but I would recommend reserving a table just in case.
