Too dark and grimy. Barely anyone in there on a Sat night around 1pm. Music wasn't current either.

Want to give this 3.5 really but as you can't do halves on Google then I have to go down rather than up. Lovely service and a decent coffee but an awful couple of cakes. They were obviously a number of days old and very stale. We visited on a Sunday so in some ways it's understandable that a bakery can't be visited. I'd just not do the cakes or offer something shop bought instead if the quality can't be guaranteed to be up to scratch.

What a brilliant night we had I'm so glad they decided to make this a live band venue. As a follower of live music this is the perfect venue. The drinks are a bit expensive but as the entry is free they have to make their money somehow.

Fantastic food, you will not get better in Aylesbury in my experience. The English breakfast is superb along with the pizzas and the steaks. Also great on a Friday and Saturday night with 2 rooms open with different styles of music.

Made a midweek visit on a Wednesday evening and left disappointed. There wasn't more than four customers in the bar, the Guinness I ordered was off and ale took a ridiculous time to be prepared. The place was clearly undergoing some sort of makeover, at least that's what I hope as there was MDF rails and suchlike on show. Doubt I'll ever return, unless I hear it's made a dramatic improvement.

Breakfast time. Monday morning.Empty apart from one staff on mobile. Good start.Ordered full breakfast then sat and watched as water started pouring through a light socket 😨With that drama over breakfast arrived. Good overall apart from mushrooms need draining. Plate looked like a scene from titanic. Tomatoes acidy and could have done with some sugar to get rid of that. Good bacon and sausage. No black pudding though 😈
