Really enjoyed my tomato salad starter. The vegan Giardino pizza was the best that I've eaten out in a long time. Very good service for our party of ten . Very happy

They are too cool to accept phone orders.••••••We were passing through town and I tried to call in a quick pizza order. They said they do not accept phone orders and you have to use their app or website.I just wanted to order a quick pizza, not add another app to my phone, which will only get used once.As a matter of principle I did not give them my business or money.

Prego is our go to Italian restaurant in the Buckingham area. Excellent food & drinks and a lovely outdoor patio area at the back (with individually controlled heaters for the winter and in the summer it's a sun-trap).

I ordered the spaghetti alla bolognese. What turned up was not spaghetti alla bolognese. They served the really thin spaghetti (think it was the quick cook stuff) and the sauce was 99% tomato; literally no meat at all. When I asked for Parmesan cheese they brought a small ramekin of cheese - eg you're only allowed a small amount. This is clearly a tight restaurant more interested in squeezing out a few pence profit than making tasty dishes. Treat your customers like that they won't come back. I definitely won't be returning. My partners sauce was very runny and the gnocchi were strangely really small like little pickled onions. Not the proper size of a gnocchi at all. I also heard the guy opposite complain about his pizza.

Brilliant menu, delicious food and friendly staff. Our first time here and we had a lovely meal, every person in our party was raving about their meal. Very impressed that they were able to make a bespoke pizza to my liking. We will be back!

Food was ok, not stellar, but reasonably priced so no major complaints there. Service was good. Floor under the tables could have been done with being swept more regularly, but that's just me being picky.

Prego served us well during lockdown with their order and collect service but it was so great to be back at the restaurant. Their outdoor seating area has greatly expanded and we received excellent food and customer service. So happy to be able to dine out again.

First time visiting and hope that not the last! Really friendly staff, great Covid measures in place, the food was delicious and we didn't wait to much even the place being busy. The Alpi risotto was amazing. Definitely recommend. There is a parking nearby, 0,50£ for 3 hours.
