Rooms are great, well decorated comfortable beds. The food is amazing and the staff are even better. Great get away for a couple. Ideal location, close to and easy to get into London, without dealing with the congestion and prices of the city. The pictures online do it no justice.

We visted from the US and weren't sure what to expect. This would be out first time staying at a dedicated bed and breakfast. We'll have to say that we were pleasantly surprised. The staff here are great and they are very friendly. Top notch breakfast and their dinner service is just as good. The rooms are a little small, but that shouldn't matter since we didn't spend too much time in them anyway. Anytime I'm in the Wendover/Aylesbury area I'll be staying here.

Really beautiful rooms, recently decorated. Seriously I was expecting standard pub rooms but these were nicer than some 5* hotels I've stayed in. Book direct if you can they are super helpful. The food in the restaurant there was also amazing. Wendover is an attractive little town. Went for walks on nearby Coombe Hill and Wendover Woods. Lovely way to see the Chilterns.

A pleasant stay in a nice room, with only a few quibbles. There seems to be some really loud plumbing at certain times early in the morning, possibly other rooms using the hot water, which will definitely wake you up. The main road is also busy from about 7-7:30am, so bear that in mind.Food is fine, as is the drink. The owners/staff are lovely though, very welcoming and happy to help. A cooked breakfast was included in our room which I forgot about, so that was nice! We'd stay here again for sure, but with the change of exploring what food options are nearby.

I booked an outdoor seated lunch to spend some time with my friend for her birthday and the staff were extremely accommodating and friendly! As a complete surprise they presented a wonderful birthday cake board and my friend and I were delighted! Went above and beyond and I am grateful. The burgers we ate were delicious too! The outdoor seating under the cherry tree was so lovely.Very satisfied customers indeed!

This is a fantastic base for walking in the Chilterns. Lawrence will look after you well and cater to all your needs. The private dining room is a excellent spot for groups with its own music system for playing the cure. It also has a projector for viewing rare cure b side videos. There is complimentary sloe gin in the rooms and whiskey on the landing (not in the jar-oh). We will definitely be back. See you soon Lawrence

By far the best pub around. Fantastic food, a huge selection of drinks, if you are lucky enough to stay. The hotel rooms are lush and only just been renovated in the last few months. However that said the best thing about the pub is the staff. They make it really warm and welcoming with their enthusiasm and attention to detail, especially the assistant manager Jo, who is a delight. 5 stars all the way.

Had a lovely meal today! Absolutely loved the atmosphere! Food was amazing the roast pork was super yummy! The staff were super friendly and attentive, a special mention to Laurence for being upbeat and friendly which made us feel very welcome! And Matt for making the booking swift and an easy process, meeting our requirements! A great team!

Lovely last minute stay to treat my daughter. Room was great, the added extras really impressed. Breakfast was good quality, served by Enid who really looked after us and made us feel really welcome. The Fab Team make the difference here.

We stayed here overnight, really nice room and bathroom. Nicely decorated, the shower was brilliant. We went to the pub for food, and the service was brilliant, the staff were really friendly and honest about the food.I had a chicken dish, was okay, nothing special, and thought it was overpriced for what it was.Partner had a 'sharing steak' from their steak night special they had on the weekend we went. The sharing steak wouldn't have been enough for 2 people. They also had run out of most steak options on night 2 of the offer. The side sauce for the steak was all amazing. The blue cheese sauce was my favourite.Nice place, though; we're not local, so wouldn't be planning on going back unless we needed to stay in that area again.
