Absolutely faultless. The cakes were delicious and the staff delightful and efficient. They have got it spot on. A perfect stop off for our long walk.

What an massive shame, we had planned to end our trip here in time for 5pm closing but were met at 430 with the rudest staff I've virtually ever encountered. I know they want to go home but it was so unpleasant, unreasonable and totally illogical that it can't be forgiven. Especially when 3 different staff have all told you different things!

Never disappoints. A great menu with even better sweets/chocolate. The selection is incredible. Drinks were great and service matched. I recently tried the ice cream and was impressed by the selection of flavours. It was served with a chocolate stick made in house. Excellent.

After having the most delicious coffee on Sunday we went back on Monday for more. Sadly the coffee we had on Monday was as far removed from Sundays as is possible. A very nice young lady kindly declined payment and wondered what the difference was. Not wishing to embarrass myself or anyone else I left without an explanation.Well here goes, after years and years of selling coffee I knew exactly what was wrong. The person making it had reused milk already steamed, they had tried to re steam the milk and it had collapsed. Then overheated it to try get it back, which made it worse. It won’t ever come back once steamed. Hence bad results. The texture is gone the taste is altered, the coffee ruined. The crème non existent. I would recommend a coffee course at Butlers Wharf or elsewhere if found for trainees. We will return hoping that it will be as good as it was. Not the end of the world I know but when charging top buck for a product it should be right. By the way the chocolate buttons are to die for. Kind regards Graham.

The best chocolates ever. The Easter eggs are just absolutely delicious and the chocolate is so thick. The hot chocolates are the best around and the cakes and brownies in the shop never disappoint. We've been regulars for years!

It's been a while since I've added a review, and this one is not to be missed.The vegetarian and I had ventured over to Wendover. A small village we had walked around in the Summer months on a Spy trail 😉.We wanted a mid morning hot drink and perhaps a naughty snack and we happened upon Rumsey's.On entering, fully masked up of course, we were greeted with a counter full of chocolate goodness.There are 3 tables downstairs and 5 upstairs, which you get to via a steep set of stairs (not suitable for those not able bodied). The toilets are downstairs.There are also 3 large tables outside, weather permitting.We settled in and were handed our menus so started perusing.The options were pretty wide, from pastries to cake and chocolate fondue.I went for a pot of tea, pain at raisin and I just had to have the cinnamon dusted churros with choice of milk, dark or white liquid chocolate.The vegetarian had a cinnamon Danish and a Hot Chocolate with a shot of Bailey's. I am told it is delicious.If I had one question mark I thought the hot chocolate could've been a bigger serving for the price.All in all though, we'll worth a visit.A final word on the staff. All were excellent.

The venue is lovely, the staff is super friendly and very keen to attention! Bear in mind you have to be patience as the place is always crowded. The churros are amazing. Definitely will come back!!

It's our favourite cafe! Miss sitting in the cozy cafe though due to pandemic. We always go there to have our favourite Mocha and Banana-Chocolate Bread! They do awesome chocolate variety. Images with this review were taken during one the visits before the pandemic!
