You get scowled at by some of the local blokes who prop up the bar. Shame as the owners seem nice but I hate going to places where the locals make you feel unwelcome. It's a lovely setting but I'd only go if the weather was nice so I could enjoy the garden.

Just Superb !!Visited with my wife on Friday 4th Feb for beer and Cask Marque Swipe, just excellent. Location, Landlady, Locals, Parking, Interior, Exterior, Range of Beers, Ambience, Friendliness of everyone. This is what a local should be like, looking forward to re-visit.

Visiting friends in the area and went to the Stratton today and had their Christmas dinner. Superb food in a superb pub. Lovely staff. An absolute pleasure.

Can park motorhomes at the rear (phone first). About six there when we stayed. Lovely village pub. Great chatting to locals. Real ale and good basic food (book table). Our fourth overnight visit.

Lovely pub excellent food very helpful staff and a quit night sleep stunning surroundings well worth a visit

Lovely old pub with extensive lawn and outdoor seating area. We got to park overnight at the end of the garden, which is surrounded by a stream. Had a quiet night and woke up to the sound of pigeons in the branches and sheep in the field across.

After a year and 2 months of strict Lockdown for me. I thought a trip to The Stratton Arms was called for after a long day at work. First pint in that time. Greeted by friendly Covid conscious staff with well spaced tables in a massive Garden out back in the Sun. One way system for serving and Guards in place giving to security against a harsh climate we've all endured. Food is served safely and probably the best in the area. I will definitely be visiting again soon. Perfect end to the day. 🙂🙂

Absolutely lovely MH stopover near the borders of Northants, Bucks and Oxfordshire. Free if you use the bar and dine. There is a lovely big grassy field behind the pub for maybe 12 MHs near the barbecue and kiddies play area but they don’t take caravans.Pitches are not serviced but they don’t mind you using the outside toilets or the water tap and I’ve read that you can prearrange electric hook up.Phil the owner landlord greets and welcomes you and cannot do enough for you in the cozy bar and restaurant.Lovely food at a very reasonable price but not large so book ahead to avoid disappointment.About 30 minutes walk down a public walkway to the small village Brackley. We thought it was a hidden gem tucked away in the countryside that we will return to as soon as we can.Very popular with visitors to Silverstone and can get busy so ring ahead.
