Great friendly service with an interesting and varied menu. Hanging kebabs are fun and really tasty, good portions too. Nice place to meet up for food and drink but some non-alcoholic wine would be nice too please.

Excellent food, brilliant service. Had a hearty pub meal after a very long time. I had almost forgotten how good, fish and chips with mashed peas taste! Highly recommend this place, if you enjoy good quality food and great ambience.

Had lunch with friends yesterday & it was so good. We all gave it 10/10 & the food couldn’t have been nicer. Also, the service was excellent & surroundings so pretty. What a great place in the local area.🤗

Wow, what a great place to eat. We booked based on a recommendation and took my Mum there for a special family meal. The staff were amazing, friendly and helpful and the food was really good. We had a very pleasant meal with good quality ingredients and were amazed at the portion sizes for the puddings - which were deliciously naughty. Having lived or had family living nearby for years, I was surprised I had never been here before - but I’ll definitely be back. Highly recommended!!

Lovely food and good drinks. Food service not good no check backs. Have Get own cuterly then if ask to take left overs which good they supply box. But they get box by bar staff manager says 'do it yourself 'how rude I'm in catering buisness and never known such rude manners. Bar person tonight was lovely and good service.

Tucked away, but a lovely traditional pub with thatched roof, beams, large inglenook fireplace. What you would expect from an old pub. Friendly people and nice food too!

9 of my family went to the Royal Oak Saturday 4th December 21, to celebrate my sisters 60th Birthday. It was amazing. Staff made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Food was lovely & hot. Very reasonable. We would like to Say A Big Thank You to all the Staff for there hospitality. Hope to see you again. Sandra

We had to try the hanging kebab I had the satay one. The satay sauce was bit to runny for my liking but tasted nice. My little one had the roast I tried the beef that tasted amazing. Staff was friendly and helpful and the price for the meals are good just needed few more chips.

Lovely outdoor venue for long lazy summer days and cosy storied interiors for cold winter respites. With a kind and attentive staff, delicious food options, and a wide variety of pints on tap there is no reason not to pay this historic locals establishment a visit.

This pub had been recommended so booked a table of four. A lovely traditional pub with great beer, good service and superb food. Three of us ordered the famous hanging kebabs, we were not disappointed, so tasty and filling, struggled to manage a dessert but needs must. We’ll definitely be going back and thanks to all the hard working staff 👍
