The Plough Inn in Aylesbury Vale

Made to feel very welcome by Sue our host who was very attentive and helpful. Enjoyed a very good steak and peppercorn sauce and a desert. Well cooked and good portion size. Desert was a lovely treat

Didn't book a table,Friday 3.30ish but table available. Pleasant staff but miffed why the bar person felt the need to rub fingers down the glass to clear bubbles that would have fell by gravity alone!! Bit grim especially in covid times. Food ordered at bar,came out piping hot. A big thumbs up for that. Lovely meal.The food was reasonably priced along with the drink prices. It was nice to see dogs were welcome. I do not have a dog personally but loved it. Definitely going back.

Strange place. Waiter tried taking our starters away mid eating and talking to each other as only 1 of the three plates was empty. Chicken fahitas was awful, burnt black onions stuck to the bottom of the skillet with fresh chucked on top almost like it hadn't been cleaned from precious use, tastless and burnt wraps. OH was in stitches about the 5g of grated cheese that came with it, and his buttermilk burger was a dry as a tyre. I get cheap food you get what you okay for but sadly its not one place we will return to even for the price

Had a lovely meal. Table available as soon as we arrived. Food came out quickly was really tasty and at a reasonable price. Staff were helpful and polite. Couldn't ask for more and I would definitely recommend.Update: Visited for a second time late December and again food was delicious came in a timely manner again the whole experience was excellent.

Absolutely rubbish. Waited one hr for meal. Chicken still frozen at the bottom. Manager said it should be OK we used a prob. A prob only tells you the temperature of the food to serve when put in centre. Then waited 30 minutes still no desert asked a waitress. Then had to ask another member of staff 30 minutes later. Ice cream desert needs no cooking. Never going to eat the again.

Friendly staff. Quick Service. Great food, would highly recommend the Backyard Burger, Chocolate Fudge Cake & Oreo Cookie Sundae!

We had the mac daddy and the steak was pretty good , also the Mac and cheese very tasty . We also tried the milky bar sundae and the raspberry sauce was amazing . Pretty quiet for lunch , but definitely worth a visit .
