Stunning little pub with a good beer garden. Wine and food were amazing. Would highly recommend. The risotto I had was seasonal so check the menu for changes

We tried four small dishes for lunch. All were delicious and just as they should be. Service pleasant and unobtrusive. Local ale slipped down. Thanks.

The room was clean and very well made.As the pub opens at 12pm they will provide a basket continental breakfast. This includes really nice crosswinds, fruit and jam. Milk is available in the communal fridge. My 2 day stay was very comfortable.

So disappointed! I love this pub. We eat in Oakman restaurants (not this one) probably 3 times a month so I was looking forward to trying the new seafood offering. Starters were tasty but tiny portions. King Prawn Curry nice flavour, a bit dry and small portion. Daily special Whole Plaice- not good! Very little meat and the meagre offerings were pure mush! Not a flake in sight and massively overpriced at £24.50. I hate leaving a bad review because I love the brand. Let's hope the Grand Junction is better when it opens!

Oh my goodness, there are no words to describe how amazing this place was. Found it last minute on a little trip and it’s an absolute hidden gem! The food was so fresh and tasted amazing, the staff incredibly attentive and kind. I cannot recommend this place enough! My partner had the burger and I had the duck wrap and both were utterly incredible, if you’re anywhere near you should definitely take the time to visit!

We stayed using the stay for free promotion and upgraded our room to a superior double. When our room was ready we were pleasantly surprised that our room was actually located in a room in a cottage across the road. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the food was really good. The continental breakfast hamper delivered and left outside your door was a nice touch although my husband was disappointed he had no full English 🙈The little villiage, Brill is beautiful and has a convenience store 5 min walk away.Highly recommend this place x

Lovely eating experience. Great service and as a group of 5 with an age range of 15 to 80, the menu provided something for everyone.Only comment, the mini pork pie that came with the pork belly, needs to become a big pork pie! It was bloody marvellous.

Lovely county pub. Food more than cut above, but priced accordingly. Service friendly and efficient. So all good. Sort of cookie cutter Oakman really, but that's a great thing. Recommended.

Worst meal I have experienced in a long time...started off with a list of stuff they did not have including main attracrion points to the menu. Starters were fine however the saltwater beetroot had no flavour and the most interesting part was the salad. The asahi beer tasted like the lines hadn't been clean followed by a fillet stake which was deffinately not a fillet, undercooked mushroom struggled to cut through the skin a plain grilled tomato with no herbs or even seasoning and chips that I would prefer from a chip shop all for the low cost of £30 moving onto the vegan maincourse which was a mushroom chucked in some pastry with a whole half of cabbage that had been grilled which I joyfully hung from the core which had been left in and doubt was washed at all as that's not possible without taking it apart ...in all spent £100 on the most disappointing meal I have ever had so over priced and to be honest completely embarrassing, the only thing that made being there even bearable was the wonderful front of house the beautiful building and the comedy show of the food that followed.

Fantastic staff, lovely pub really comfortable and cosy. The dogs were welcomed by the staff and we weren't made to feel like they were a nuisance which can happen a lot in other pubs. And lastly the food was amazing. I had Korean Fried Chicken and it was superb.
