We had friends staying for the weekend and decided to have a Sunday roast locally. I called the Seven Stars on Friday, booked for four people at 12.30 today.A perfect village, super location, easy parking led us to a delightful pub/restaurant. It was full of locals, great atmosphere, Steph met us with a smile, she is French so was still celebrating the Grand Slam. So many roasts to choose from, 1 Pork, 1 Lamb and 2 rare Beef were our choices.Proper front of house service from a young well trained team, nothing too much trouble. Delicious food, well cooked, great flavour, huge Yorkshires, best home made gravy and matched with a soft and fruity Merlot.A reasonable bill, Steph interacted with all the diners, it was a pleasure to dine out in such a warm atmosphere. Well done, we’ll be returningThank you so muchGlen & Frankie Macfarlane

This place is always a great experience. Steph the Manager gives the warmest welcome, Josh keeps things moving along. The burger is the best for miles around. Can't rate it highly enough.

Had a fantastic holiday dinner! Great menu and lots of choices! I had turkey dinner with all the trimmings. Then brownie with vanilla ice cream. Others in my party had pork belly, sea bass, sirloin steak and roasted butternut squash. The atmosphere was lovely and the staff were amazing! Pretty little pub in a quaint village.

There is nothing not to like about this beautiful community run pub in a small village 45 minutes drive away from my house. Yes, I am prepared to make that journey for superbly cooked and plentiful food. You are guaranteed a warm welcome, even if it's been a year since you were last there! There is a small car park which can be a little tricky at times, but that doesn't deter me from giving it 5 stars.

Beautiful pub. Good atmosphere. Good ale. Smashing food. Good service. Still retains the feel of a traditional pub despite being a place to eat.

This is the second time we've eaten here - wasn't planned we realised when we pulled up it was the brilliant pub we'd visited when in the area in early 2020. Both occasions the food was excellent, fairly priced and the service from the landlady is just so warm and friendly! We'll definitely be back again

A family of four went for the Iberian experience. Excellent food and wine and paring. The starter was a particular favorite. Attentive staff, cosy and beautifully decorated dining area. Highly recommended. How about a Greek night?
