The Stag Inn in Aylesbury Vale

We had a wonderful meal last night, presentation and taste were just great, The staff were so lovely and very attentive, making sure we were okay, would totally recommend and cannot wait to go back.

Was a little taken back by getting a bowl of mayonnaise shortly after ordering and long before our starters. The food is good although expensive, staff where nice.The place seemed to lack character, and with little soft furnishings can become quite noisy.

An absolutely beautiful pub and the staff were incredibly nice. We went there as I'm researching my family tree. Wonderful to think my ancestors would have had their beer there after a hard day on the farm.

Really lovely restaurant and pub, with wonderfully friendly service and beautiful food. We were really impressed and will definitely be coming back again!

Fabulous Sunday roast... both meat and vegetarian, with a lovely celeriac roast. Great service from Charlotte and Jules as well. We'll definitely be back!

Sunday lunch was nice, a warm welcome and lovely staff, but seriously over priced! Shockingly so. £200 for 4. No starters available, just roasts, we had only 3 desserts.1 gin and tonic, ….they charged £9.50 for a large gin….and wait for it…£5, yes, £5 for a small bottle of tonic water. This, to me, is taking the mick. £14.50 for a g & t is Not even London prices, it’s Dubai!!!1 bottle of wine ( £25, not bad ) and the sides were £5 each! For a tiny bowl of cauliflower cheese or marmite carrots, £12 for an aperoll spritz and £6 a pint for beer. Won’t be returning any time soon, sadly.

Wow!!! Amazing food but what absolutely made our Christmas party, was your wonderful staff… Bar staff had festive drink suggestions. Food came out swift and your chap made us howl with laughter 🤣. We will be back soon many thanks

We had a superb Saturday lunch for our daughter's birthday. Friendly welcome from the bar when we arrived, sat quickly, excellent meal, served quickly by the lovely staff. Very good value meal for 4!

First time back since their refurbishment and I'm impressed. Friendly staff, quiet ambiance and reasonable prices. Good selection of drinks and food with the table service being excellent. Food was really tasty and well presented. Beef stew is wonderful and should be tried (if your diet permits) and the Doughnuts with Whiskey Custard were to die for! We will be back, many times!

Lovely Sunday lunch. My wife and I had the beef which was a very thick cut and almost resembled a mini steak. Lovely garden too - will defo return.
