Great food and great staff. Did a fantastic job for a 60th birthday.

I was taken to the Unicorn by friends for my birthday dinner. Firstly it is such a beautiful old pub. It's very stylish and beautifully decorated but still has all of the old charm and welcoming atmosphere one wants in a pub.The staff are lovely, very friendly, very welcoming and really attentive in a nice way. The menu is really interesting and it's difficult to choose from the many delicious options and it really is delicious. 5 plus stars * for the food.I really recommend a visit and I look forward to going back very soon.

Lovely country pub with excellent food, great service and a bubbly atmosphere. My wife enjoyed the venison whilst I loved the red mullet. I will definitely return for another visit!

My first visit, and won’t be my last…A very welcoming fire and staff, a beautifully cooked and presented Sunday roast beef- topped off with an out of this world Treacle tart! (Spotless loos too)A really lovely pub. I can’t recommend highly enough

Driven past The Unicorn several times on the way to somewhere and always said we should have dinner there.... so, tonight we did and it was lovely! Cosy atmosphere, the staff serving were welcoming, friendly and good at what they do! The food was the best we've had in a long while. Definitely booking again!

Booked dinner for two and had a great time. Attentive service, lovely food, good wine menu and generally a very nice, cosy pub! Had the seared pigeon breat to start, slow cooked beef rib for the main and white chocolate and raspberry bread and butter pudding to finish. Delicious, and will be back!

Outstanding food. Never been here before but will definitely come again.Come here for the second time today for lunch. We had squid for starters followed by butter chicken burger and chicken ceasar salad.Absolutely outstanding food 👌Booked to come for dinner next week.Cannot fault anything from pub, garden, soft music in the background and of course the staff.Thank you Paul, Libby and Emely

Popped in here today for a spot of lunch with my fiance, must say exceptional food, excellent service from staff ( libby), and a really friendly warm welcome from management, will definitely return to this little gold mine.Come here today for our second trip in a week, again amazing food, great service by libby, Paul and Emily, got to say this is one of the nicest pubs that we have eaten at.So nice we have booked another date for an evening meal.

I've just had Christmas lunch at £75 per head... The salmon starter was seriously good, but the rest of the meal was disappointing if I'm honest. We were supposed to have mince pies and coffee to finish off the meal, but these never materialised. They also tried to charge full price for my two children, until I spotted the error. They then tried to charge an extra £55 for "service charge"... Overall, I was very disappointed with the service, having to keep reminding the staff about drinks that we'd ordered, even though they weren't exactly rush off their feet... The pub it's self looks quite pleasant, with a large garden, and friendly staff... I'm looking forward to visiting in the summer for a few pints, but I definitely won't be having Christmas lunch here again.
