My family and I have been here many times. The staff are friendly and attentive and helpful. They will go above and beyond to help with any problems or issues you may have. I personally have never had a problem yet. The food is great and the prices are very reasonable. Book in advance to avoid disappointment.

Another visit for a quick lunch, good selection of veg as usual but unfortunately they had run out of beef our favourite, so had turkey and gammon instead. Daisy took our orders she is very friendly, polite and helpful always greets everyone with a smile.

Booked a table for this evening 5 peopleService was shocking to say the least. Order food all good but waited over 25 minutes for drinks in that time asked 5 times where our drinks were. Then had desserts which comprised of 2 apple pies, a Sunday and two warm cookie dough all good except for the cookie which was over cooked and absolutely terrible. When it came to asking for the bill that took ages too. Went to pay and no one could find our bill. It too another 25 mins to sort this out!

Good value for a cheap Sunday lunch/ carvery. Lovely meat, veg a little cold but we were right at the end of serving time. Generous portions including non carvery. Spacious seating although when we visited, the heating appeared to he off on a chilly day so maybe wrap up a little. Staff polite, friendly and helpful. Table of 8 adults, 2 children with puds, 4 adult starters, carvery and drinks came to under £110. Can't beat that! Would go back.

We had a very nice Sunday lunch with delicious pudding after. Our server Holly was very polite and welcoming. She was quick to get us everything we needed and made such an effort to speak to the 4 of us. We will return very soon!

Came in for the first time in a while due to the pandemic and I must say it was lovely. We had 4 roasts on our table and they definitely did not disappoint. Our server Holly was very polite and quick to get us everything we needed! The only thing I would say is the gravy could have been a little hotter but it didn’t let the meal down.

A warm, friendly hospitable pub we found coming back from Stonehenge. Very spacious and ample of parking.Tip. If you are travelling back front then stones, probably best avoiding the 5 miles of a-roads us London folk aren’t use to. I believe this was Apple Maps. The carvery option looked amazing but fancied a burger. My friend ordered a big burger and opted to add an extra patty: he ended up with five patties in total. Good portion sizes and good value for money. We didn’t make a reservation but this wasn’t a problem and was seated promptly. Solid all round.

Unfortunately not a great experience this evening. It was easy to pay and order on the app and was clear what was available and not. It all felt very covid secure and they stuck to their procedures the whole time we were there. It was really quiet in there but took around 40 mins for food to come. It was also clear kitchen staff weren't very happy tonight as you could hear them - every word!! This is a photo of my adult portion of macaroni cheese - just as well I ordered chips to go with it. The garlic buttered dough sticks weren't quite what I was imagining but were tasty. A friend had a carvery but could only choose 1 meat as the other 2 were clearly the remains of what they had leftover and rather dried up. The rest of the meal was OK and lots of different veg to choose from. The front of house staff were all really friendly and helpful. This used to be a firm favourite with us but don't think I'm in any hurry to go again any time soon.
