The best Indian restaurant I've been to. All curries are excellent without fail. It's my go to Indian when "up north". Well I am from the New forest.

So first takeaway from this place since moving to Whitchurch 6 months ago. Was very easy to order and pay online. Onion bhajees were a good size and big portion. Samosas were pitiful. 2 very small samosas for a starter! No salad which has been included in every single Indian i have had ever. Chicken bhuna was described as a medium hot meal had no heat whatsoever. Vegetable balti on the other hand made my friend sweat with every mouthful but he enjoyed it. Chicken tikka masala was very nice and i have to say portions were good. Unfortunately rice was disgusting and naan breads pretty chewy so will carry on ordering from the other Indian in town

One of the best Indians I’ve had, would highly recommend the Blue Ginger. I’m a regular customer. Great food, clean restaurant and lovely staff that always go the extra mile!

Customer service was not great, was not made to feel welcome at all. After finishing the meal and complimenting the chap who was running the restaurant floor on the great food, I had the receipt thrown at me.

Great food and atmosphere to match. Waiter was excellent both attentive but not in our space. All dishes served were both tasty and well presented.Food was not greasy or dry, which can be sometimes. Compliments tother chef for excellent meal

Delicious authentic Indian food located just off the centre of town. Their menu offers a very wide selection, so there’s definitely something available for everyone. The lamb biryani was very flavoursome as was their butter chicken. Hearty sized portions meant we left feeling very satisfied.

Our first visit to this restaurant but it won't be our last. The food was fantastic. This is the best Indian meal I have had in years. You could actually taste the flavour of the spices whereas so many restaurants now just give you that generic taste of hot chilli. The staff were incredibly friendly with a special shout out to Francis who made us feel very welcome. He seemed to greet everyone else who came in by name so their are obviously a lot of regulars and they are clearly valued.
