Buildbase Cafe in Basingstoke and Deane

Heard a lot of good reviews so finally visited today and we weren't disappointed. Good food, good service, happy staff and a spacious restaurant.

Enjoyed a delicious lunch here today. Lovely location with option to eat outside on a nice day. Restaurant is spacious and spotlessly clean. Great choice of food on the menu and our lunch was delicious. Service was attentive without being overbearing. This was my first visit and we look forward to returning in the near future.

The service is excellent here, very friendly even when dining with my 9 month old baby. The staff are attentive and helpful.The food choice was great and I really enjoyed the gnocchi and tiramisu. I've also had afternoon tea here before which I'd recommend

We had meant to go there ever since lockdown closed the place just as it was about to open. It was well worth the wait. The surroundings are spacious and well decorated. The staff are friendly and efficient. Seating is well spread out. There is a good choice on the menu: conventional fish & chips and burgers through to more elaborate dishes. For those of a veggie persuasion, there is a good menu. Prices are reasonable. We will definitely go back.

Would highly recommend this restaurant. Delicious food and fantastic service. Will definitely be back.

I thoroughly enjoyed my meal, I had the seared lamb rack. Others at the table also enjoyed their meals except one as he found a bone in his chicken burger. The service was good and they were very accommodating. They have an odd requirement, if you wish to take your leftovers home you must sign a waiver. I have never experienced this in all my years of dining out. They also offer a choice of vegetarian options.

Restaurant atmosphere is nice. Me and my husband’s first time here for dinner. Food I think was served in an acceptable timing. Our starters were the cured salmon with yogurt and the duck terrine. The salmon was alright, didnt wow us; the duck was better but I felt there were too much meat to be a starter. Mains, were burger and the ox cheek. The burger patty accdg to my husband was on point and the chips were nice, the bun apparently could be better. I think we forgot to add some sauce, to sort of bring the burger to a different level. We were supposed to add blue cheese but forgot. We weren’t asked if we want any sauces like ketchup or mayo for the chips too. The ox cheek, beautifully cooked meat, melts in your mouth. But lacks bold flavours on the jus, the champ is nice a bit salty, the baby vege is a bit overcooked but I think this menu is promising but there are room for improvement in my opinion. The best dish for me last night was my dessert the sticky toffee pudding. Really yummy, the vanilla ice cream is so nice with it too. Overall not a bad dinner but definitely the options we had last night could be better i think.

I visited today with my mum and we had such a lovely lunch. The decor here is gorgeous. The food was absolutely delicious! Wonderful, friendly and accommodating staff also. I will definitely be returning!

First visit and I must say the food was excellent and so was the service. We went for the lunch time deals £19.99 for three courses.We'll definitely be going back again, probably in the evening with friends.

I loved our dining experience at the Palm Brasserie. The decor in the restaurant was beautiful. The team were very attentive and ensured we had a fantastic evening. The food was amazing. I loved the ox cheeks and with the accomplimenting food every bite was a beautiful experience!
