Met up with several club members for lunch, was quite busy but the wait for food wasn't to bad. Good selection of both food and drinks. Personally prefer my food on a plate, not a chopping board, not a major issue but the pickled onion made an escape bid!Price about the going rate.

Good choice of beers and bar meals. Friendly staff and dog friendly. All made for a lovely trip to the pub.

Enthusiastic welcome and attentive service. We ate the gammon steak and trimmings and were too full to follow with dessert. The only slight niggle was that the hot drinks could've been hotter. Otherwise a very pleasant dining experience; food tasty, freshly cooked and piping hot. Would return.

Great food and certain part of the food menus are varied every week with great choices. Plenty of parking and nice atmosphere. Do recommend that you book in advance.

Again, Serendipity came up trumps. Came for a walk at Silchester, but a couple of empty tummies in the car demanded filling... A warm welcome, happy to have dogs, with a nice range of drinks, nice atmosphere, a variety of artefacts in the window, wonderful chairs, and filling food at a reasonable price. Jacket potatoes just the right size, likewise sandwich and Panini for lunch. The only think to watch is that the toilets are quite small, so time your visit carefully. Car park can fill up quickly but the cricket club area is no more than a minute away.

Friendly helpful staff, made to feel welcome. Atmosphere was good, I thought it was a little warm in the room. Table was wobbly, we moved to a different one. Food was excellent, arrived quickly.

Great pub dog friendly in the bar area and front & rear gardens.Parking at the rear aswell as out front. Good choice of beers 🍻 and the food was great apart from my mash was a little hard not a big issue tho. All the staff was very friendly and approachable. As you can see Duff man made a guest appearance.

Very pleasant pub, we called in early afternoon on spec just before the kitchen closed (at 14:30). We ordered sandwiches which duly arrived - and were delicious. Add to that a good pint of London Pride and I was a happy bunny!The staff were most cheery and helpful. Décor is fresh and clean. Recommended.
