Went for afternoon tea. The service was so bad. It started with us asking for a table outside, they failed to mention they didn’t have big enough tables for us so after that, we had to move inside. They said we had to buy sandwiches separately and then another lady came over and told us a different story. We waited 15 minutes just for a cup of tea, no water was offered. When we asked for some tap water they took about 10 minutes and then gave us a jug, no glasses, just a jug. They didn’t have a lot of the advertised menu items available , especially cakes. When the food did arrive, the scones were still raw in the middle. Before this, we were interrupted abruptly saying “how are you paying” out of no where. We had to take the food off the trays ourself and we were given about 10 sets of cutlery (there were 4 of us). The staff didn’t seem to understand what was going on. They were just stood around. The food was fine but so expensive for what we received. Very disappointed and will not be returning.

The actual garden centre is lovely bit expensive but you get that with niche items. Cafe could improve waiting time as was not very busy but even beverages took a long time to come out even with 5 servers on the floor. Would go again if was out that way 👍🏻

Blissfully surprised by this garden centre, very tidy and well stocked. The staff are friendly and helpful. The products sold are affordable and great quality.

What s great garden centre. They have lovely plant that are in perfect condition. The gifts are unusual and different to what you might normally see. The cafe is fantastic, we sat outside next to a small river. There was a cheeky robin who actually came onto the table while we were sat at it to take some of the cake crumbs. The cakes were superb.

Visited to pick up some bits and pieces for our home as well as look at the houseplants. Stopped off in the cafe for a bite to eat and a drink which took a while to be served, then the drinks before finally getting our food about 20 mins later. We weren't in a rush so didn't mind waiting. It would have been good though to be told how long hot food was going to take.Despite that the food/drink was great and we found some nice things for our home which included a picnic basket set!Lovely garden centre, however smaller in comparison to ones I've been too closer to home.

Big garden centre. Big tea rooms. Good food fair pricing and friendly staff. I find the garden centre prices a tad high but some great products to select from in addition to well cared for plants. Worth a visit. Big car park too. No issue parking.

This place is great. Not just the variety of gardening supplies you get but even the price. They are usually cheaper than higher street shops with better service. On my initial visit I wasn't too sure about prices and availability, but I have been there multiple times now and this shop has become my first port of call for any gardening supplies.

We went specifically for lunch at the cafe. At 1.09 the notice said they were shut. A polite young lady explained they were suddenly very short on staff and were concerned about the backlog if orders. We must have looked dejected as we were allowed in anyway. We ordered sandwiches and drinks. The food service did take the best part of half an hour but we were served our drinks in between and had lots to chat about. The sandwiches were great, lovely nutty bread, rocket and sweetcorn side salad and a handful of crisps to go with it. So glad they let us in.

Nice, tidy shop. The staff were excellent. The thing that let them down was we ordered lunch sat 1-30pm and we did not get our lunch for 35mins. There was plenty of staff, and the cafe was not that busy.Such a shame.

The staff were really sweet and patient with us while we were disorganized and confused at the checkout. And the store set-up is so beautiful, you could spend hours here just wandering.
