Fish n Chickn in Basingstoke and Deane

Great little chippy, good food and service and can help out with telephone orders. Only thing, a large chips has now been reduced in size which is a shame. Used to get large chips in a box so would be a great size for sharing or families but now portion size is smaller. Apart from that, a good little friendly local chippy.

Ordered large cod, medium cod, medium haddock, chips, onion rings, mushy peas. Always had great service and good quality food, the same this time but ended up with 3 piece's of cod and all very similar size. Food was really good but not what we ordered.

0 stars if i could,we ordered from them, we did click and collect, left waiting no acknowledgement, girls hair was all hanging down as well from her hat- should have been tied up( very unhygienic) laughing away between themselves, no customer service. Finally recieved my order, fishcake chucked in the box not even in a wrapper ( really bad for allergies as should all be seperate). We had ordered a large portion of chips there was barely enough to feed 1 person!! They have completely cut down their portion sizes not worth the money at all! Offered a refund and still waiting! Its been well over a week now, not happy, and I definately will not be going back. Avoid avoid avoid. Food not bad but not enough of it, terrible customer service and not worth the wait or price.

They put the prices up but the food was disgusting chicken was slimy and not fried properly battered sausage was pink and not cooked properly they should be ashamed if you put the prices up make sure your food is good

Always freshly cooked, never in old oil, great portion size, and the pickles are most excellent too! Great service whether ordering at the counter or click and collect.

Yesterday teatime (02/02/22) I went into shop and ordered small fish & chips and curry sauce. I took my order to work across town, and then found they had left out my fish. Very disappointed to say the least.

Just had the worst fish and chips, I think ever. Served at around 5pm. Almost nine quid for a portion of chips that were inedible, hard brown and dried from being under the heat lamps for how long? Standard cod the same. Batter baked hard and dried, fish dried out and chewy. The fish was maybe a fillet of 1/4 inch thick, a rip off. Total waste of money and mostly went straight in the bin.How can you knowingly sell fish and chips that have been under the counter heaters for probably hours that you must know are not going to be edible. Shame on you.

Once again, excellent service, so impressed that we can get Gluten Free products on 2 days a week for my Coeliac girlfriend. Always excellent quality food.

The foods really good from here but I find it a bit on the pricey side. Can't fault the food tho. The chicken nuggets are to die for with their curry sauce and chips!!

I've just found out that if you have a delivery, to a dwelling ,that £2 is charged on each order, whether it be 4 orders at one address making it £8 in delivery charges let alone the order on top of that before you start .If that is the case, then I am Afraid my services with the company will cease from now. A delivery charge is fine if its included with whatever you order but each item I'm afraid that is taking P..s.If it's not the case then accept my Apologies .
