Had a fantastic meal, great portion sizes, with friendly, helpful staff and service. They catered for our big group of 14, in their private upstairs area, with everything brought out correctly and on time. Perfect!

Used to be a regular haunt for us before the lockdown. We visited for lunch yesterday and were disappointed in the standard of the food served, and offish attitude of the serving staff. A real shame since we used to love this place.Wife asked for crispy batter on her fish but it arrived very oily and not crispy. Peas were cold. Chips were very average. Ribs were not tender, and the barbecue sauce did not taste like i would expect - so an overall unappetising result for both of us.Requires friendlier servers and a new cook. The menu choices are great.

On my latest visit....I totally get that it's a dog friendly pub, but seeing huge dogs sitting on the customer chairs and putting their paws on the table is very unhygienic. And to top it off, when the customers with the three large dogs left, the bar person simply pushed the chairs back in and no cleaning happened at all. Totally puts me off eating in this pub. No excuse for basic cleanliness.

We really enjoyed roast beef Sunday lunches. Had to wait quite a while for coffee but that was because pub still busy at 3.30pm. Recommend it and certainly go back to try continental food - the menu looked good.

A lovely, quite & friendly place to eat, the food was amazing and the portion sizes...well, ourselves along with all the other guests were very happy with what came out the kitchen. We had the Lamb Chops and Full Rack of Ribs.

The service was really great and the Greek starters / mezzes were really nice. Unfortunately our burgers weren't great. Very grainy and dry. It was also very cold (I almost had to rely on my parker). We had children with us and I think we were the first to be seated. There was a snug with a fire that would have been ideal but we weren't seated there.I would go again (not as a first choice), but would only order from the Greek / Thai menus.

Pork steak was huge! And delicious Pork ribs was not bad. I would suggest sharing those dish. Reasonable price for the amount for food!

We had lunch under the umbrella in the rain. They had lovely heating and the kids played in the playpark no matter the rain. The food was delicious and the wine was good. Lovely service and beautiful gardens.
