We haven't been to the Longbridge Mill since before the pandemic so I was looking forward to returning to an old favourite. Unfortunately time has not been kind and both the quality of service and food has suffered in the last two years. Nothing was especially bad but neither the service or food shone whereas pre-pandemic I'd have rated them a 5* review they are now worthy of only 3*. The time from point of order to our food arriving was slow and the preparation wasn't close to their previous standard nor were the quality of the ingredients.Would I go back - yes for drinks as the garden and interior are lovely but I won't be making a special trip just to go there for food.

Awful service. Including me there was 6 of us. All ordered our starters. To be told 3 of them were off the menu. 10 minutes after we ordered. Asked for my daughters pizza to come with the starters as she was tired. 4 starters arrived no children's pizza and no starter for me. By time they brought my child’s pizza and my starter everyone else had finished there’s. My starter didn’t have its bread or any cutlery. Simple basics really.I complained to various members of staff who didn’t care in the slightest. Spoke to the supervisor who failed to inform the manager of these errors but would not charge us for our “starters” and some drinks which I guess was the least they could do. Each meal came with no cutlery. Even my daughters ice cream… I asked a girl member of staff could I have a spoon she came back with a bloody table spoon LOL. By this time I thought Ant & Dec or Jeremy Beadle was going to come through the door it was that comical 🤣Eventually it can to the bill time and they charged us for double the mains and even the starters and drinks that they promised they wouldn’t We spoke to the manager who was quite helpful and shocked at the lack of duty of care these members of staff showed. She charged us for 60 pound in the end for everything which was I guess was the least she could of done. New manager in a fairly big pub restaurant. I wish her good luck with this pub but with those members of staff she has got a big job on her hands. Shame really me and my partner had seen this pub a few times whilst visiting friends nearby as we are not local. Only to be massively disappointed.

Our 1st family visit as recently moved to the area but this will probably be our last here too.Don’t get wrong, the location and the building itself is really nice and well kept although the decking area could do with a clean. It was pretty empty when we arrived and plenty of places to sit. We chose out the way but still see the bar.The menu wasn’t the best we’ve seen only to then be told there were a number of items not available. So ended up with burgers which for the price were “ok”. We’ve had much better for a LOT less. Handful of chips and couple of soggy onion rings. Then it took forever for our plates to be cleared even though plenty of staff about.Looking forward to my favourite sweet to then be told they have none. All in all a total disaster.Sorry but I’m just leaving an honest review.

Very expensive so you expect quality but, no! I ordered rainbow salad, described as mix leaf salad and baby spinach and received only wild rockets, not very fresh. Half of the other ingredients was missing but they add extra, like cus cus, when I questioned why there is a pasta in my salad the answer was it is part of what they described as a "mixed grains" 🤔 I pay £15 for this. They did not offer refund.

Went after lunch time rush, no one to greet you or signage to say take a seat or wait to be seated. Tables had not been cleared from the lunch time rush. The tables that had not been used were dirty. No menu's, had to go on a hunt. Food was of weatherspoons quality and portions on the smaller side. The cost of the food, you would of expected better! Drinks were quite expensive too.On the plus side, loads of parking and because it was quiet, had plenty of choice for a table to choose from. But I can definitely think of better places to go for a cheaper price and better experience. Sorry.

Lovely ambience and great location. The building itself is warm and welcoming, with exceptional staff. Me, my husband, and our daughter were served by the lovely and bubbly Charlotte. Thank you so much for your hospitality. We really enjoyed ourselves and the food was on point. Hope to see you again soon.

I found this an excellent location. The staff were helpful and friendly. Inside the space was huge allowing well defined areas for different groups. The menu was good and the food brought to the table quickly after ordering, and it was hot!! Well worth a visit. I will go again.

A pleasant restaurant in pleasant grounds next to the river Loddin. We had no trouble booking a table about 30 minutes ahead. I had the pork belly and my wife had the fish and chips. Both were very tasty. We got served pretty quickly and the staff were very friendly. We've been there a few times and will definitely go again.

This place is amazing! The decor, the atmosphere, the staff, the food all faultless in my opinion🍾 my partner and I came here to celebrate some good news and it really didn't disappoint us! They staff were polite, friendly and welcoming, the pub had a warm, cosy and almost homely feel! We weren't rushed or pressured at any point and were given time between courses to let our food settle and have a chat! Honestly by far the best place I've been to for a while and definitely worth the money! Five stars really isn't enough🎉 if you want somewhere, relaxed, cosy, friendly with delicious food then this is the spot for you!
