Great find. Very friendly pub, made to feel very welcome.

Went for lunch on a Thursday, people in bar more important than us, long wait times for drinks and food and not many others in the pub, we were in the restaurant. My meal was overcooked, others were nice. Not what the reviews make it out to be, not rushing to go back.

Very welcoming customers and barstaff waitress really lovely young lady but sadly food in our opinion not good very dry and chicken pan fried making outside hard we will return for drinks but not to eat sorry

Pub fully closed on a Wednesday afternoon despite all information saying it was open

Bit shabby around the edges...sticky table tops, and carpet. Cigarette ends litter the paved outside areas.It could be, and should be the vibrant centre of Oakley, but the staff were off-hand, and seemingly unable to cater for a family breakfast gathering. They seemed to be hiding, and we had to make several requests for spoons, milk, mugs, hot water etc.A shame.

Service is good ! There's big back yard with tables . The pub looks like proper old style pub . Recommended for everyone 😁 !!!

Family went today lovely staff warm and friendly, local pub.Variety of food all hot. Delicious roast, meat nicely cooked.Chef came out to ask if everything was okay which was a nice personal touch. Unfortunately forgot to tip the young waitress who was very pleasant and smiled which is rare these days. Definitely would recommend.
