Nando's - Basingstoke in Basingstoke and Deane

Tried using a one4all gift card which states nandos but staff wouldn't accept it, when asked why they said the portal card machine isnt working ,stood in a queue with peolle behind me , how embarrassing..would of helped if the man hadnt had an attitude whilst playing with his hair. Food was ok but no longer do bbq which is a shame

Very inviting. Went when not busy s eve better. Staff friendly and attentive. Clean al round. Great back ground music not to loud. Food delicious and good portions. Left full and happy.

Tried to order on the app but had to go to the till to use a gift card, young lady was polite and took my order and checked it was correct.... the food arrived within minutes hot . Very tasty food and great value

Sunset burger is my favorite, try to avoid going at peak hours as the chicken could be over burned due to overflowing of orders.

I am a lifelong fan of Nando's so it pains me to write a poor review. The team at Basingstoke really messed up. I placed my order using the app and after 15mins went to enquire about our food and drinks. I was told the drinks were being poured and food was on the way. Nothing happened. I complained again to the manager and was offered a refund on the drinks. Waitress that delivered the drinks had a face like thunder. 20mins later and still no food. I complained again and there was no order for our table. I got a refund and walked out.

Nando's is usually a safe bet for a good meal. A reasonably good selection of food well cooked and seasoned to your specification. The range of sides is also reasonable.The service is reasonably fast, when compared to the volume of customers. I have found that the portion sizes have been reduced in portion sizes in direct relation to increasing prices across the board. In a pinch, Nando's is a great choice but other options are available.

Good food ,friendly service ....don't like get up and down to order food ,get your own drinks ect...but knew how the restaurant chain worked before hand ....food was excellent in this branch. 👏

Went last night.Placed at the back of the restaurant.No servers so assumed we had to order via the scanner as per the instructions on the menu.After 10 minutes of fighting with a poor signal and no person's coming to our aid, we walked out. On our way out, we were told we could order at the counter.Didn't change our mind, so we went elsewhere.Perhaps the staff could mention at first point that if one does not wish to use the scanner they can go to the counter.

One of the nicer Nando’s, good food as always and ordering on your phone is quick and easy. The halloumi sticks are awesome. They didn’t have tables inside so we sat outside as it was warm enough, tables inside are way too close together anyway.Only negative was one of the staff members was pretty rude but most were good.

The food was spot on as always, lovely and hot and most importantly doesn't burned! Only down side is the server not being as attentive as it should be due to lack of staff, so a few dishes didn't arrive and we have to ask for it. This is probably due to the pingdemic and they are short on staff.
