Sora lucia in Basingstoke and Deane

Was really excited to try this place because I'd seen it recommended in a blog but ultimately was very disappointing. The food was ordinary at best and the ordered Polpette (meatballs) were still cold and defrosting on the inside. You could tell that the servers were embarrassed by this so we didn't make a fuss. However, when it came back you could clearly tell that it'd just been through the microwave - so much so that they didn't even bother to replace the previous meatball. All together, very average meals for the price that you pay.

I ordered takeaway and found hair in my food and the bruschetta was stale, must have been several days old. The bolognese didn’t even taste particularly good.

What an amazing find!The food was incredibly tasty, good value and the Italian couple were just the loveliest people. So glad we decided to order from them - I love the idea of my money going to local hardworking people!We were on a road trip home from Cornwall at the time with 2 youmg children so we were going to just eat in our car. However, the owners insisted we used their bench in their pretty front garden. They even brought us out some water!What a wonderful end to our half term holiday. If we are ever in Basingstoke again, we will 100% be back here for more tasty food.Thank you

What a great Italian meal. My family and I ordered carbonara, lasagna, spaghetti bolognese and a prawn and courgette pasta. Yes I tried them all and loved them all. Delicious food, lovely owners and chefs. Thank for a great meal.

Sora Lucia did all the food for our recent house party for 60 guests. Their food was sensational and delicious! They are lovely people producing wonderful homemade Italian food and we will definitely be using them again on a regular basis.

TRULY AMAZING, by far the best Italian food I've ever eaten. Lasagna was superb, cheesy and hot. Panna cotta was creamy.Such a shame I am only in Basingstoke for a week else I'd be here every weekend!!Such a lovely family. Thank you.

My daughter told me about Sora Lucia and I have to say wow. Just wow. Absolutely stunningly delicious food and real value for money. Delivered on time and piping hot. I shall most definitely be ordering again and I recommend everyone should try the lasagne. Proper home cooked Italian food. 10/10. If I could give you 11/10 I would. Thank you.

Absolutely delicious and beautifully presented as always! My favourite 'restaurant' in Basingstoke! (the quotes are because it's collection/delivery only, even if we weren't in lockdown!)
