Spicy Tadka in Basingstoke and Deane

Chose the all you can eat buffet. We were warmly welcomed, very polite professional staff, our drinks were served very quickly. The food was very well presented and there was a good selection. All very tasty but for me the food was not hot enough, it was barely luke warm.

I usually stick to my local Indian restaurant but tonight thought I'd be adventurous and try something new. Unfortunately that was a big mistake. I ordered through Deliveroo and the food arrived pretty quickly. However, the curry dishes were extremely bland as were the onion bhajis. I would've been a lot better off eating a couple of ready meal curries from the local supermarket as they taste a lot better and are a lot cheaper. The only part I enjoyed was the keema naan bread, although that still wasn't as good as my local Indian restaurant. I'm afraid to say I won't be ordering anything from here again.

Our first meal at Spicy Tadka and it was absolutely delicious. Friendly staff, pleasant surroundings. Will definitely be going back for more!

The best Indian I had ever had - get the lamb shank or railway curry. Friendly staff. In town for a work conference. We had such a special evening there.

We've visited many times and regularly order takeaway too. The food is excellent and one of the only places I can find paneer dishes - I recommend paneer Makhani.Friendly service as well and newly refurbished restaurant. Best Indian in Basingstoke

Order number #5EF96 via Uber eats - 2nd January 2022.Please note that I have ordered from Spicy Tadka before and never had a complain, however this time the order was in such a bad taste that i had to leave a review.Items ordered are as follows:1 ) Samosa Chat - Tasted really good - Thanks.2) Chicken 65 - Awful3) Chilli chicken - Awful.4) Paneer butter masala - Really came across as a sweet dish rather than main course, far too much sugar in the dish.I have tried to mention this on 2nd itself to the spicy Tadka and was advised by their reception that a manager from Spicy Tadka will give me a call on 3rd January, haven't received the call, and therefore want to leave the honest review to ensure the feedback is received by relevant people at the restaurant who can ensure the taste is not compromised.Thanks,Mo

We ate today in their Diwali Buffet and liked the food very much. Some of the best ones were Goan fish curry, pulao and Moong dal halwa.

I can’t believe I gave these guys another chance after my review 4 years ago. Ordered through Uber Eats but they used there own driver. Food was an hour later than the estimated delivery time and when I called through to ask where my delivery was lied to again. Seems like lying is something that never changes and must be part of the training. Food was stone cold so chips pretty inedible. The only decent halal place in Basingstoke is the Agra and will stick to them from now on.

It was a great experience .. they were nice and food was delicious .. I would come again and try different meals ❤
